If the fuel trucks are dead, the tanks can't drive much further without running out of fuel.

Now the Russian crew in the tanks have to abandon it and try to run within Ukraine on foot.
Soon they are arrested, soon they become prisoners of war.

Now Ukraine owns the abandoned tanks, the Ukraine defence minister said the other day that Russia is their biggest supplier of tanks and ammunition.

It is said that Russia has lost about 1/4 of it's invasion weapons. Any military unit they loses over 1/3 of it's weapons has lost combat effectiveness according to military strategists.

Putin has reportedly recalled 6 out of the 20 generals leading the war for him in Ukraine. The Ukrainian snipers have killed another 3.

The Russian army has surrounded the city of Kiev on 2 sides for the past few days but they are stalling the attack.

Because on the west side, the Ukrainian army is also behind them.
If they move in on Kiev, they will be attacked from behind.

On the east, the Ukrainian army has another division a little to the south.
If the Russian column on the east attacks kiev, the Ukrainian division on the south will move up north, cut them off from behind and attack them.

It's a catch 2-2 situation on Kiev now, who moves first?

I don't think that this is the goal. If Russia had gone Hiroshima on Ukraine the way America did to Japan then, you wouldn't be typing this. Things would have been too disastrous. So far I think russia's aim is to capture the said neo nazis and demilitarize the country without incurring a lot of civilian casualties.

China cherish it's Economy than Russia, China can not afford any sanctions from the United States or European Union who are China top biggest trading partners.

China will not want to go that route to jeopardize their own Economy over a relationship with Russia
