The only language that APC understands is borrow and nothing more. I doubt if the problems that APC has created for Nigeria can be solved in the next 20 years. |

A professor of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Uyo and the Chairman of the Foundation for Economic Research and Training, Prof. Akpan Ekpo said, “The rising debt profile is not healthy for the economy even though we are still within the so-called range if we look at the debt to the GDP ratio, but GDP does not pay debt; revenue pays the debtThere seems to be no respite in sight anytime soon. |

Any individual, organization or country wallowing in debts will find it very hard to succeed as most parts of your earnings, revenues and business proceeds will go into the repayment of your debt and you ultimately will end up with nothing for growth and progress. In the case of Nigeria where there are so much debts and corruptions, the future is bleak and chances of curbing the menace of the crippled economy are very slim. |
