The 2021/22 UEFA Champions League quarter-final, semi-final and final draws will begin at midday CET on Friday 18 March at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.

The draws feature the eight winners from the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

Confirmed quarter-finalists

Atlético (ESP)
Bayern (GER)
Benfica (POR)
Chelsea (ENG)
Liverpool (ENG)
Manchester City (ENG)
Real Madrid (ESP)
Villarreal (ESP)

How will the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final draws work?

The draw will set the ties for the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and a draw will also be held to determine the 'home' team for the final, for procedural reasons.

The draws are open, so there is no seeding or country protection. Any team can be drawn against any other team.

The first team drawn plays its first match at home, against the second team drawn.

When do the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final ties take place?

Quarter-finals

First legs: 5/6 April
Second legs: 12/13 April

Semi-finals

First legs: 26/27 April
Second legs: 3/4 May

Final

Saturday 28 May (Stade de France, Paris)

3 English teams, 3 Spanish teams, 1 German team, and 1 Portuguese team. Whoever gets the Portuguese team qualifies without a doubt.

I would love to see us play Atletico or Benfica then Bayern Munich in the semi final round.

I'd love us to play City as well. And regardless of their performance in the English league, I don't think they'll be much of a task for us.

My opinion though, I doubt UEFA would want to pair Madrid with Bayern at this stage. It's a money making clash compared to the others.

Liverpool vs Real Madrid will be decided on their home turfs. Score a lot at home and go away to defend. Man City vs Bayern will be over in the first leg. City won't survive Bayern.

Instead of dragging issues with Bayern Munich this season, my club choose to draw against Benfica and opt for Europa league...!! Sense will not kill this my club this season. grin

Now we are favourite to win that cup which is a win win for us grin

why dragging issues with Bayern when we can have it easier elsewhere grin
