The outcome of zoning committee will have a lot of impact in the forthcoming primaries.
Leaving it open means atiku chances of winning it is high and APC will have a very strong opponent to contend with. but, if it zoned to the south, that means PDP will experience exodus of gladiators

Political parties are formed fundamentally to win election, before anything else.
Atiku is the PDP's best bet for 2023 and will most likely clinch the ticket and go ahead to win the election should it be free and fair.
