My sincere appreciation goes to everyone who contributed to my previous thread

I applied to different European universities last December and my first admission letter arrived about a week ago for a programme I am quite interested in. It's a 2 year programme that starts in August with first semester in Norway, second in a range of European universities and third semester in France.

Now, my current capital of about #4m will barely cover my tuition and travel expenses not to talk of the required funding of the Block account amounting to 126,000 Nok. A mentor has offered to fund this account for me for the visa application but he is concerned about when he'll get his money back.

Peradventure he gets money back within 2 months of my arrival, is this journey still wise to embark on minding feeding, accomodation and other costs I have to settle on arrival.

Switching to another country like Germany by next January, I may have to provide proof of living expenses again. Another option is sticking in Norway for the entire session as the Block account covers that period but are work opportunities available within that time to meet these costs?

I am eligible for tuition scholarships and Erasmus mobility grants amounting to at most €260 monthly but the coordinating institution is tactically waiting for me to confirm my admission with an acceptance fee before further information can be provided on if I'll get these awards/grants.

I'll appreciate inputs from past and current international students in this issue.

Thanks

Since you already have someone to fund the 126,000 NOK ....use your four million to part tuition (like 2.5) keep the rest for travel and settling in...
U already have a student visa from one Shengen country..so I don’t think you will need visa to enter another shengen area.(I might be wrong though).
With the 260€ Stipends ..You gats finds work to survive...you go see work naaa... I believe you go dey alright... no over think am..

Thanks, so even if I return the entire block funds by say September ending. I'll be likely to find a job within two months of arrival that will pay about 400€ accomodation and feeding at least?

I read somewhere on the norwegian thread that a student is granted full access to the money in the blocked account upon arrival
