Osimhen Equals Weah, Eto’o, Salah’s Serie A Goals Record

Victor Osimhen equaled the Serie A goals record held by the trio of George Weah, Samuel Eto’o and Mohamed Salah after netting a brace in Napoli’s 2-1 comeback win against Udinese on Saturday.

Going into the game against Udinese, Osimhen had nine goals and his first goal, which was the equalizer against Udinese, took him to 10 goals.

His 10th league goal made him the first Nigerian in history to reach double figures for two different seasons in Serie A (He scored 10 last season).

Also, he is now the fourth African player to hit double figures in two different Serie A seasons after Weah, Eto’o and Salah.

He went on to grab the winner which means he now has 11 goals in the Italian topflight this term.

Saturday’s win saw Napoli on 63 points level on points with AC Milan at the top.

Not surprised he has always been a great goal scorer he still holds the world record of most goals scored in the under 17 category of the junior world cup.

Nice performance

osihmen at the peak of his powers....his next sale go be like 150 million pounds, trust those mumu epl billionaires

Pity the Serie A doesn't appreciate the hunger and effort this lad puts into each match day.
If he was in the Prem a lyric will have been waxed for him by now....

He played less matches last season, due to suspension and injury.

Sentiments aside, unlike Erling Haaland, Victor Osimhen is just a lucky, consistent fluke.

He was banging in goals at lile, went to napoli and got 10 goals in his first season despite his slow start. Now has 11 in his second season and you are saying he's a fluke? Erling Haaland might be better, but to call him a fluke is just pure unfiltered stupidity!
