There was a missile strike by Ukraine that killed several civilians in DPR ignored by western media because it happened to the other side

Baba you’re wrong. TU and F jets are different types of aircraft. One is a long range bomber, the other is a fighters jet.

Can we please stop shouting TU bomber here? It’s so unnecessary.

A TU is a long range bomber, hence it flies at high altitudes that the stinger and other light heat seeking, shoulder launched missiles can reach.

Those are made to down low flying aircrafts. It will require a proper air defense system to reach the altitude of a long range bomber and that’s why Ukraine is begging for a no fly zone.

Also the Ukraine military doesn’t have a formidable air defense systems, either non existent or destroyed … that’s why the US is trying to get them an S300 defense system to use which I doubt would work against the Russian jets but I’m interested to learn.

Like I said, they are either destroyed or not working.
1. Russia is still operating its drones
2. Russia isn’t used the Iskander ballistic yet … infact every military analyst was waiting to see its capability but they haven’t used it instead it’s been using cruise missiles and recently the hypersonic missile that’s air launched.

S200 and 300 should be able to down those cruise missiles, even ballistic ones, and the jet that’s launching that hypersonic missile.

Like is said, it’s either been destroyed or they are not working against the Russians.

All downed Russian helicopters and aircrafts are credited to stingers and other heat seeking shoulder launched missiles. No be me talk am, it’s in both Western and Ukrainian news. Nobody ever talked about Ukrainian air defense downing any jets or missiles.
