This is not good advice.
OP: If you ever consider the study option, try Canada and from there, stay back and u can work and make money comfortably and build your house. Don't go to the UK to study and work, it will be too stressful and if you don't make it, they will not give you the 2 years post study.

Lol, even my friend in Canada does not have good things to say about Canada. If you believe you will go to UK and fail, your choice.

If I were you , I will save more and complete the building .. atleast that’s one life achievement.

After then , I’ll start all over to save then travel out.


By the way , in this kind economy for you to have two lands and 7m, you try , try to expand more on the husle that pays your bill, honestly abroad is not a big deal. It’s always easy on paper , and it’s harder if you don’t have anyone over there to put you through the system . No matter how smart you are, you will start off like a stranger in a strange land .. 7m will take 3bedroom flat to 85 % completion, it’s better to lose the opportunity of traveling to abroad now and have a house to fall back to, then go take blind risk and loose it all. If you’ve built the house, you can then travel with your new savings and if worse comes shove, you always have roof over your head.

UK admission, do your research, part payment. When you get there, you work to balance. There is also one healthcare visa for UK, you get there with your dependents and start work immediately. No schooling involved.

I've started my project and I don't even have upto that money but I'm building... Below is my estimation
I'm molding blocks myself (like I'm not buying already molded blocks)
My target is 5000-7000 blocks which would cost around 2m
This should be enough for the kinda house I want to build(4 self-contain)
2m would go for roofing
2m would go for wiring the house and plumbing
1m should cover the wages for the workmen...
After this, I'll give the house out for renting... Need I say I already have a land in a fast developing location

Na dis kind advise deceive my late Papa carry am from UK come back. Na dat side dem for born me. No serious Nigerian can be unsuccessful abroad. You know de spirit of Naija? Dat spirit na never say die spirit. We are tough. We are survivors. As long as you are ready to use your hands, you can't go hungry for abroad. You can wash plates, do security, do clerk etc all at the same time and earn cool cash. Thank God I no follow my papa lane, my children no go grow for this toxic environment wey de limit our potentials.

Because it is fast and sure. If that guy chooses to travel with education today, by December he will be out of the country but Canada will give him admission by December, before he will go to vfs, wait for visa that may not come, it will be next year. I haven't personally applied to Canada since 2016 but I have friends who are using education to leave Nigeria. From about 20 of us who always chill, like 15 or more have travelled to UK. Canada people dey there dey pile up inside pool waiting for ITA.

You're talking as if there is a river of money in the UK that the OP can just go and fetch from.

Oh yes, there is river of money, if you are ready to work, there are jobs for you. Minimum wage jobs(£10-£12/hr) to start with. Jobs yakpa, I even know guys that are being employed from here. Google UK jobs with visa sponsorship make your eyes open.

Depending on your age and career. If you are still young say early thirties; you can take the risk of relocation. If you are in your forties with family, please build a sizable house first.

2 years work permit, then start another masters or PhD. The best way to hack it is to go with a partner so while one is schooling and working part-time, the other is working full time. There is healthcare visa too where you start working the moment you reach UK.
