The new governor of anambra state who was innogurated into office on 17th March 2022 just paid civil servants in the state there first salary under his administration. This is a sign of better things to come for workers in the state and the state in general.

So the salaries of entire Anambra civil servants can be settled with 300million naira that he met in the state treasury. What a small workforce

Though I doubt this news knowing how lies now dominate the internet space,but if it's true,then it means Obiano left substantial money or good sources of guaranteed revenue for the goverment,far more than the ₦300m claimed because I am quite sure the salary of civil servants in Anambra State can't be less than ₦1billion per month.

Governments exist all over the world for the basic purposes of providing services, amenities and conducive environment for the good life to thrive.
Serious governments don't do this by flooding officialdom with all sorts of inebriated workers, thereby ballooning the monthly wage bill of the government.
It only happens in Nigeria and it's wrong. Stop using the civil service as a poverty alleviation program..
