US currency lost over 1% in February alone, according to SWIFT

The share of the US dollar in global financial settlements dropped in February, according to the SWIFT interbank transaction system.

The use of the greenback fell 1.07%, down to 38.85% of all global transactions conducted via SWIFT. However, on a yearly basis, the dollar's share was still up by 0.42%.

The share of settlements in euro, on the other hand, rose in February by 1.23%, to 37.79%. The euro has increased the most among the top 5 global currencies year on year.

The Chinese yuan lost its position to the Japanese yen last month, dropping 0.97% and taking 2.23% in global calculations. However, the share of the yen in global settlements also decreased, and now stands at 2.71%.

Ruble was 73 to $1 in January and is now 103 to $1. It has even lost ground to the Naira! Check any long term time frame, the Ruble is losing value irrespective of what may happen over short 1-month periods.

You saying it's gained in the last month is like saying a team losing 5-0 in a football match but which manages to score 1 and makes it 5-1 is now winning 1-0 since it scored. Spouting brainless Putin troll points can't disguise what is happening to the Russian currency. When are you going to go to your local bank to open domicillary account denominated in Rubles? Black on Black hate is very bad, most African Americans hate poeple from Africa, most of them think first generation migrate from Africa are reaping the fruit of what their forefathers sowed.

Every country that trades in usd will feel the impact of the on going sanctions. At the end of the day there will be no winner. Ruble might have a short time gain due to their new demand of selling oil in ruble, but it will be a temporary gain at most. The biggest gainer will be btc, long term people will start thinking of a decentralized money that can't be affected by sanctions
