Goodyness:Actually Nigeria has always had a lot of programs to help the poor, going back a long time before even 1999. Education, electricity, healthcare, pilgrimages are all subsidized in Nigeria. I'm sure there's more. All this despite the fact that Nigerians don't pay taxes; citizens in the UK, USA and Canada pay a lot of tax. Add to that, they're way more productive than Nigerians. Few medicines or innovative products have been discovered or made in Nigeria. I understand your anger, but we have to think about everything logically. |

Apc startede with blame games they'll end with blames as well. Now they're blaming Europe I ask is it today that prices started skyrocketing? Even when crude prices is above 100$ they're still complaining that it's going to bring hardship. |

So because it is being experienced in the US and UK, it must be experienced in Nigeria too. Rubbish! |

Of course Bastard, rising food prices are experienced everywhere. It is now very convenient for you to compare with the US and UK! When it comes to wages though, you will not say the the UK hourly wage is about £9.50 and the US depending on the state could be up to $13 and hour. Dear Bastard, this means some people earn in a day what you pay some people in 3 months! Then you compare their rising food prices to ours? Failure |

Flexherbal:Don't listen to these mad people óò. Things that get expensive in abroad are compensated with another thing, example more money for salary, tax cut and so on. Lastly d percentage of things getting expensive is under 1% while in Nigeria is 200% to 1000%. Make una do d maths. Comparing Naija to UK and US lol, there are couple of countries in Africa doing far better than those 2!!!!!!!!! |

Prince001:Did you click the last link? It deals with general inflation, that includes food and fuel. You cannot avoid housing costs, everyone needs a place to live. And healthcare is unaffordable for many Americans too. Most Americans will tell you that the social system does not benefit them at all. |
