Reading comments here, I can clearly see why this nation will never move forward!

Citizens now support imbeciles hell bent on setting them back, instead of standing behind an elected governor making moves to better their lives.

Ask them what ipob has brought to them since inception... Nothing but tall silly dreams and desolation.

Soludo will likely end up like all talk, no action. The governor must meet with Gov Nyesom Wike and seek his advice on how he dealt with Ipigs/ESN terrorists in Oyigbo Rivers state. Ipob/ESN beheaded a police officer in Oyigbo and cannibalized his flesh before Wike swung into action by calling on the army.
Soludo should acknowledge that Ipob/ESN are terrorists and must be dealt with by brute force. Ipob/ESN even tried to kill Soludo during his campaign laste year, but they ended up killing 3 police officers.

Maybe he should use Wike's style because they have made a mess of East no where is safe now. It's so unfortunate

I hope Soludo won't be another uzodinma and jubril in disguise? Leave these people and their Monday sacrifice and focus with the little resources you have at hand..

Many of the fools supporting the sit at home in this thread are Igbos. Stupid ones. They are against Soludo because he is bringing light but being children of darkness they are not comfortable.

What has sit at home achieved for them if not more misery. Stupid things.

Terrible journalism. I stopped reading immediately I saw Soludo has stopped sit at home. He said, from April 4th, there will be no more sit at home. Some journalists are just half baked. Get your facts right. Moreover, the sit at home does no one any good. It won't make Buharii to release MNK. Buharii will even be praying SE stays at home from Monday to Friday. He doesn't care as he is in Abuja eating Nigeria's money. He doesn't even care when Crude oil production drops by hundreds of thousands of barrel let alone sit at home. SE should get wise. Sit at home is killing the people not FG or Buharii.

I respected Soludo so much because I thought with his sound education, his ways of doing things will be so different from the way other governors do things in south east not untill the approach he uses in stopping sit at home then I realized that he's not as wise as I have thought him to be.

If sit at home was that easy to stop , Hope Uzodimma and others would've stopped it long before he Soludo even become a governor. what makes him think that he can stop it now forcefully? Oga use your head to work and not your emotions or to score cheap point.

Soludo came with good plans, please he should focus in delivering it. He should stop daring IPOB orders, or he will regret ever becoming the governor because his government will be so rubbish. He should Learn from Hope Uzodimma the supreme court governor.

How can he deliver his good plans when the streets is under the control of hoodlums and terrorist that lockdown the state every monday or any other day they wish?

I will keep saying it. Technocrats are the worst people to put in power, only a gangster can govern in Nigeria because what Nigeria needs at all levels are leaders who can disrupt the status quo. Technocrats make good commissioners, ministers, advisers etc under the leadership of a gangster!

Technocrats never succeeded in Nigeria, such is the failure of technocrats in office that it is rare for them to get a second term because they are booted out of office. Shagari, GEJ, AMbode come to mind.

There are only 2 ways a technocrat can succeed in NIgeria 1) you are yourself a gangster e.g El-Rufai / Fashola or you have a Political God father e.g Sanwo-Olu.

If you try and run any govt anywhere in Nigeria by the book, you will fail!!! The mindset of a typical Nigerian technocrat is not in tune with the people he is trying to govern. The 1st problem with a typical technocrat is that he is used to dealing in facts and it is not in his nature to cajole, lie, make empty promises and deceive. Well to acheive anything in Nigeria you have to learn the dark arts of diversionary tactics, lying, empty promises, deceit and cajoling to buy you time and good will to actually implement YOUR plan or you will never get anything done. You have to learn how to make promises to various groups that you have no plans of keeping in order to keep them onside in order to buy time to do things you actually want to do or else they will not let you do anything.

I am not ibo but I want Soludo to succeed for 2 reasons 1) if he succeeds, it forces other governors to wake up and he becomes the yardstick for performance so there is a Knock on effect in the same way Governors shifted to focus to IGR because of Lagos. 2) if he succeeds in Anambra, if will reduce if not reverse the migration to Lagos....God knows Lagos is too FULL and unbearable thanks to migration!!!

In the case of touts, involve d army in the arrest. The army knows how best to drill an arrestee before handing him over to d police.
In d case of ipob, Emma Powerful has exonerated ipob totally from all mayhems in Anambra blaming it on one Mr Ekpa thereby calling on Soludo to go after the perpetrators.
So, there will be sanity soon

D only thing that we make soludo last and win peoples heart is for him to dialogue with IPOB..He should not use force...IPOB is beyond what we see or hear...he should trade with caution...we wish him well.

Nwanne, may your days be long for this comment of wisdom. This is what I have been saying since Soludo started running his mouth against ipob and ESN but his paid urchins were insulting me and abusing other Igbo clans to justify his bad strategy.

If Soludo is not careful, he will waste his whole tenure chasing shadows and not achieving anything meaningful. He does not want ipob/ESN as an enemy because it will end in tears for his administration. Whoever knows him should advice him to retrace his steps and stop running his mouth like a wayward woman.
You be mumu... Who suffers when the state goes backward? Stvpid ipob terrorist scumbag. Soludo isn't scared of you urchins and terrorist. A good man must be seen to have good plans for his people and thats Soludo, not Nnamdi Cow-nono the detained terrorist killing his own people...tueh tueh spit

So do you also believe dialoguing with armed robbers would end armed robbery?
Maybe he should dialogue with rapists to end rapes. undecided

Since the government has been fighting them, what's the scores and how is it going?

Soldier's and policemen deployed in the east are doing what?

Haven't you heard of news were security agents claim to kill and destabilize ipob/esn members?

Nigerian government is actively fighting them but is yeilding no result, which gives more credence to the use of dialogue I earlier stated.

Nobody has deployed a serious force specifically to tackle these terrorists. In fact even PMB is no longer serious again.
