Your NIN link is not complete. Visit an mtn major office asap. Had same problem some months back. That's how I know. The government has just disconnected you. Even if it reconnects, the problem will persist.

It has happened to me recently too, my NIN was complete infact it was a new welcome back sim, I just had to go do another welcome back at MTN outlet, I guess the SIM is damaged

The problem is with the MTN line. It will be flunctuating on and off.

You will need to go do welcome back. Also tell them if they didn't use a good sim for you that you will sue their A$$
