The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on Saturday, urged the people of the state to observe a one-day prayer session against the activities of the gunmen terrorising the state and the South-East region.

He said the move became necessary so as to counter the evil attached to the Indigenous People of Biafra’s sit-at-home order.

The governor said the prayer session will hold on Monday, April 4, 2022, in churches and other religious centres across the state.

Soludo explained that the prayer session was against those hiding under the IPOB’s name to cause havoc in the state.

He spoke at a stakeholders’ peace meeting with security chiefs, traditional rulers and religious leaders in Awka.

He said, “I enjoin you to pause and join in fellowship as we seek the face of God. It is expected that the conclusion of the prayer session shall mark the end of Sit At Home in Anambra State.”

This governor Soludo has failed even before his first 100 days in office is completed. He’s asking for prayers and saying “against those hiding under the name of Ipob to cause havoc in the state”. There’s nobody hiding under Ipob to cause terrorism, rather Ipob are doing all the carnage. Heck, they even dared the governor to end sit-at-home and those ode of governor dey romance Ipigs.
Sorry o for Anambra, Soludo has failed even before starting his administration because he failed to call out evil (Ipob) for what it is.

-The idea behind editing these posts in the night is that even if you find and report by this time, the post will not be deleted since the mods must have closed for the day

-His targets are those that come to nairaland in the night.

-The next day, the previous posts are deleted and he creates another account

- The cycle continues

Do we really need pray? Not all issue can be solve with prayers. Our leader should be brave enough to do what is right on a daily basis not what is popular.

Soludo is a strategist. I see him making it a continuous action. The issue is that people are religious. Will IPOB stop extremely religious people from going to church to pray on Mondays?
