I'm looking out for cars to buy, I love the Lexus IS 250 but is it better than the Toyota Camry 2007-2009

1. How many of them do you see on Nigerian roads?
2. Is the police more likely to stop you for a search if you are driving one than in a Camry?
3. Most of the IS have been badly or maximally used by previous owners thus leaving you with a depreciating asset of the worst sort! It is a sports car. Sports cars generally don’t have a good second hand value.
4. You must be a mechanic yourself with a well stocked tool box to take good care of the Intelligent Sports vehicle.
5. Ask around very well and you will soon find out the other reasons that appear sentimental to you. You will also get to know the class of folks who drive The IS in Nigeria. For good measure you may wish to buy the diesel model! You will hear wennnnnnn!

Really appreciate this, thanks. I'll be looking out for Lexus ES350 more now. My problem with Camry is it's too many on the road and the interior not so great.

But the Lexus ES350 is not hard to maintain right?

I learnt a lesson when I was using a unique car. I was a proud owner until I started changing the parts. Unique products come with unique problems.

Get a Civic, Corolla, or Kia Rio
