I just bought a Samsung galaxy note 9, in the process of carrying out some settings; It kept telling me that the phone is rooted. Do new phones come rooted from the factory, or the phone I bought was a refurbished one? Please help.

Either the seller change the imel number or something else

There is nothing wrong in buying a rooted phone , I used to root HTC 8/9/10 few years ago, change the rom to viper rom ( very popular then) and sell them off on eBay and l sold more than 50 of such phones.


A rooted device is an Android gadget that has been jailbroken to install unapproved apps, update OS, delete unwanted apps, underclock or overclock the processor, replace firmware and customize anything else.

I suspect the previous owner rooted it and installed another rom

Nothing that I know off, maybe rom update that if your phone is using custom rom
