I’m Having Issues With My PS5 by Desto010(op): 11:06am On Apr 07, 2022*

So I just got a new PS5 and I was trying to play one of the disk I bought along with it battle field 2042
It keeps telling me to go online, to grant the disk online access .

Now my question is this, it’s it that I can’t play any disk on my PS5 without going online even after I downloaded the complete data .

I thought just like my previous PS4, I can just buy a disk insert it in and start playing immediately.

Anyone experiencing such a problem on his/her console ?

Battlefield 2042 can only be played ONLINE with internet connection ON always. No offline play for it cause it’s mainly online multiplayer, no campaign mode.

Most games support online & offline play, but battlefield 2042 supports only online.
