Mrs Maryanne Moghalu has decried the silence of Nigeria's First Lady, Aisha Buhari, over her silence after the Kaduna-Abuja train massacre that cost the lives of young citizens and saw many more kidnapped by terrorists in what is now described as one of the biggest terror attacks in Nigeria's history.

Reacting to a question about insecurity, the wife of Professor Kingsley Moghalu, frontline presidential aspirant on the platform of African Democratic Congress, ADC, said "This is where you expect the First Lady to say something, you know, but we didn't hear anything", as she broke down in tears.

Mrs. Moghalu's position was in direct reference to the unfortunate deaths of a young doctor Chinelo and one Fareeda, victims of the deadly attack by terrorists who have continued to ravage northern parts of the country unchallenged.

Looking to become Nigeria's First Lady if her husband wins the 2023 presidential election, the amiable lawyer who is also a powerful public speaker, charged the federal government to do more in the area of security, describing it as the first and most important duty of government.

"I don't care what else you do, if you fail to secure lives then you have failed."
