It's not a calculation, like I said earlier, you re scientifically illiterate and not willing to be educated, evolution is an observed fact and we observe it every minute in science, you don't need maths or calculations to do so.

They are not assumptions, they are facts but you need atleast a degree in science from a reputable university and not mushroom Nigerian universities and then go further to study a postgraduate in the field of biology to be master and properly ubderstand how it works. The fact that a layman like you don't understand it is why it's called science and why people have to get doctorate degree in this specialty.

By the way, it doesn't mean that you cant have peripheral knowledge like I do and then learn how to observe the evidence with a scientific mind and not like a church rat mind who always see everything from a belief point of view

There are no gaps or whatsoever when you study the geological aspect of evolution, the fossil records and radiometric dating explains all the gaps. The gaps you talk about can be seen in the gradual skull:body ratio in fossils of other extinct apes. We have evidence that the brain/skill/body ratio consistently increased over years from the austrolopithecus species until date when you follow the evolutionary branch of homoninis. The amazing thing about this fossils of results we got is that, they are consistent with radiometric dating and the geological timeline. We were able to extrapolate that the size of our neocortex in relation to other apes made the difference. BTW, neocortex is repsonsible for higher cognitive activity which brought about consciousness in humans.
We have extanct species of hominids that are way more conscisous than chimpanzees and gorilla, we could figure this from their brain/body ratio. The most recent are the neantherdals, they were much more conscious than chimpanzees and less conscious than humans, early homo sapiens actually saw them. So that's the gap dude, they are in the fossil records.

Lastly, humans are apes, your statement is a goof in biology.

We have evolution and we have the theory of evolution, read that carefully because you need basic education. They are different things.

A theory in science is the best explanation for a natural phenomenon.
The theory of evolution tries to explain evolution, just like atomic theory explains atoms, cell theory explains cells and theory of gravity explains gravity. The theory can be modified but the natural phenomenon (evolution, atoms, gravity, cells are constant), we can only modify how we explain them as we get better knowledge about them. So illiterate, evolution is is fact, theory of evolution explains this fact.
BTW, because something is a law in science does not mean it's infallible. Only illiterates like yours think that theories can become a law, that's not how it works. I will give you an example, Albert Einsteins theory of gravity superceded Newton's law of gravity, a theory superceded a law, . So whether theory of evolution is a theory or a law, it doesn't matter. If it's wrong then it's wrong

nope, that's not what I meant. I'm not sure you understood my statement but I'm going to give you an example. Science is really hard, that's why a layman doesn't understand it but I'm going to be patient with you.


For example, we have atomic theory, atomic theory is a theory trying to explain the nature of atoms.
The first atomic theory I can remember was proposed by jj thompson, this theory accurately predicted that an atom consists of positive and negative charged particles, we tested it and it was correct but he couldn't figure how these particles are arranged with the atom. Dalton discovered that atoms formed coumounds, so we need to modify this theory, because we have new evidence. Rutherford then experimented the arrangement of atoms like planetary system, we need to update, then Chadwick discovered neutron, we needed to update. Bohr again discovered energy levels and orbits of atoms, we needed to update againtofsy we are observing new things about atoms in quantum physics, we will have to update further.
You will notice that while updating, there was never a time someone said atoms done exist, only thr explanations kept getting updated as new evidence comes.
This is the same thing with evolution, there's never going to be a time the scientific community will say that evolution doesn't exist and then replace it with creation, we can only update the theories when new evidence comes. We have updated the theories many times anyways, from lamarckian theory of evolution, to Darwin's theory of evolution and then we discovered DNA and inheritance pattern, we needed to include to what we called neodarwinian theory of evolution today. It has never told us that evolution didn't happen

That's the beauty of science, we don't stop learning and improving and this has worked so far. This is why we were able to invent many stuffs.

These questions are too subtle to address the argument of evolution. Come up with something concrete, you can do better!

The problem is not that you disagreed with the guy. Science encourages us to disagree if we see reasons to. That's a natural way of refining the final output. Again, the point is not that the guy could not be wrong. In science, being wrong in a new way is considered progress (just like a change of error message is considered progress in IT). Most times, the one time you're right out of a 100 trials makes the difference.

The issue is the way you disagreed with him. You guys bring unnecessary emotions to this platform and that makes it difficult for you to have civil conversations and effectively pass your message across. You called his work trash instead of contributing your take on the subject. You insulted his education and thereby making yourself the omniscient/infallible one. Now, he's stepping up to defend his education and you're saying his questions are subtle. Do tell, what is subtle about his questions? Identical Twins contain exactly the same chromosomes because the fertilized zygote divided obviously after crossing of the chromosomes hence variation cannot occur since there was not recombination. If you read correctly. This diplomatic post of yours would have been addressed to him. He was the one who fired shots at me when he quoted, I only dropped an opinion. You seem to be biased somewhat with your points.

Anyone that believes all these posts on evolution hook, line, and sinker is not different from the religious people that believe in the creation stories of the religious texts gullibly.

Science is dynamic, and all theories in science have their limits and scopes.

Thus, one should approach theories and concepts with caution, keeping them their limits and scopes in mind since they will be, and can be, revised or even abandoned altogether with time.

Taking all these submissions in the OP as facts is tantamount to a situation where
someone copied and pasted some articles on the Big Bang theory from somewhere and swallowed everything without paying attention to parts of the model that are well established facts and others that are speculations.

While there are various pieces of evidence in support of the Big Bang model, just like evolution, many aspects of both theories are speculative and are ongoing areas of research in science.

It's not even an established scientific fact that we're the most advanced intelligent species in the Milky Way galaxy, not to talk of the whole Universe, which is unimaginably big.

But it's a scientific fact that we've not discovered life on any other other planet apart from the Earth.

(Our science even looks primitive since the Age of Scientific Enlightenment is less than 1000 years old, yet it's the most precious thing we've.)

Personally, I posit the following theories all account for life on Earth:
1. Big Bang and abiogenesis
2. Intelligent design by extraterrestrials
3. Evolution (not exactly as outlined in the OP)

This is my own position on the subject matter, not a fact.
