Rubbish and nonsense country, every single week, I spend not less than 7k on fueling my gen, I had to buy a small 1.8kva gen just to be able to use as less fuel as possible. For the last 6 days now, no light, I know of areas that have even forgotten that they are connected to the grid, yet if you see billings?

I will just go solar and have peace of mind.

This country is useless and unsaveable, only God can save this country, nobody else.

If you know anything about the power sector, you will know that we have 3 separate unit as you listed.
Generation.
Transmission
Distribution.

Government decided not to sell the Transmission then to still have some control over power industry.

The grid collapsing falls in Transmission purview which is still owned by government. So that is why it is government responding. Not because they are nice or anything.

If power is better before privatising? A bit complex to analyze for you.

Imagine uptill now, the national grid breaks down every two weeks.

Power has been back in parts of Lagos for over 2hrs now. At least, I'm thankful they took action this time.
