if this war goes on for the rest of this year, Russia will be left with. a destroyed economy, devastated armed forces (have lost 20% of combat hardware in just a month) and an Europe with a high Anti-Russian population.

Hopefully his plan to anex and make do with Ukraine Donbass fails

If any Putian has ever goes to their bank to withdraw money and the message say "sorry your account has been frozen by efcc" then they will understand sanction is more deadlier than nuclear bomb.

Russia go beg for food to survive in a few months time. Let them ask Somalia, Syria, Iran, North Korea who never received these much sanctions left and right are roasting.

A friend of mine there with Russia passport applied for visa to Germany he was told all Visa to any West with Russia passport suspended indefinitely.

They are thinking Ruble will do the magic. What is Rubble during my stay in Moscow Rubble was worst than Naira in exchange to Dollar and as at today who know Rubble or who will accept Rubble as international trading currency pls who?

Putin is the only man on earth to have built something very credible only to turn around to destroy what he built because he wants more.

He built Russian economy to enviable heights, but by the time he defaults on other loan repayments, used toilet paper will be worth more than the Russian Rubble.

The last time Russia defaulted on there loan repayment was in the 80s and because of that, inflation hit at over 80%. Let see the magic Putin will perform this time around. I read he is planning to sue western countries for forcing Russia into defaulting on loan repayments.

But my question is, where is he going to sue them? At the international courts they (Russian) themselves stopped recognizing with the claim that such courts don't have jurisdiction over Russia?

Well, watching from the side!

He is like Hitler who rebuilt German economy after ww1. He destroyed the economy with defeat of Germany after ww2. Hitler and Putin have so many things in common. Hitler attacked Poland unprovoked . Putin army invaded Ukraine without justification.

Lol

It is a simple misunderstanding whereby one party refused to honor a document for peaceful compromise because some people(US and West) are whispering sweet words of deception into his ears(Zelensky)

But a popular African adage says that " a child that saw a separated fight thinks that fighting is an entertainment"

Madman Putin and his invaders should have known that their international trade and obligations were done with the US dollars and not some toilet paper called Rumpled, sorry, Rouble, a relatively unknown international currency.

By the time these sanctions begin to take their toll, it may be too little too late for madman Putin.

At the end of the day, Russia external debt of 483 billion dollars is people money lent to russia. These people are not being paid and u think they are happy. U think they care of Russia is under sanctions. The bottom line is that they are not getting paid, even when the money is there.

EU-supplied S-300 launchers Obliterated by Russia

Russia seems to be able to pin-point where EU is hiding all these Supplies so, what is the Point of supplying them?
Even tiny Slovakia, with an Old Model of a Russian Product, is claiming to be supplying Weapons! grin grin

Slovakia reported delivering its only S-300 weapons system to Ukraine last week

Russian forces have destroyed foreign-supplied S-300 anti-aircraft launchers in a number of precision strikes on Ukraine, the Defense Ministry, in Moscow, claimed on Monday. Days earlier, Slovakia reported the donation of a battery of old Soviet-made S-300 air defense missiles to Kiev.

In its regular briefing on the ongoing military action in Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry reported hitting a hangar "on the southern outskirts of the city of Dnepropetrovsk," where "equipment from an S-300 battery supplied to the Ukrainian regime by one of the European nations" was hidden.

The barrage of sea-launched Kalibr missiles destroyed FOUR, S-300 launchers and as many as 25 Ukrainian troops in the Sunday strike
, ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov claimed. He used the old name of the city, which Ukrainian authorities renamed Dnepro in 2016 to distance it from the Soviet period of the country's history.

The Russian official also reported destroying an S-300 targeting radar in a separate overnight precision airstrike near Uspenovka. The general didn't specify which of the multiple villages of that name in Ukraine he was referring to, and didn't say whether the radar was part of the battery supplied by the foreign nation.

Last Friday, Slovakia announced that it had donated its only S-300 battery to Ukraine. The weapon system was part of the NATO member's legacy from the Warsaw Pact days, when it formed part of Czechoslovakia. It was not clear how many vehicles were sent to Ukraine. A regular S-300 battery can have as few as four and as many as 12 launchers using a single radar to identify targets, and is controlled by a single command post.

Prime Minister Eduard Heger assured citizens that the country's national security would not be compromised since "allies" agreed to boost its air defense in return. US President Joe Biden said his country would provide an American Patriot missile battery as a replacement and thanked Bratislava for agreeing to give the S-300 to Kiev. Elements of the Patriot system started arriving in Slovakia three weeks ago, according to its defense minister.

Responding to Russian claims on Twitter, Prime Minister Heger called them a "hoax" and "Russian propaganda." The statement was apparently based on a denial that Slovakia received from Kiev.

Washington reportedly wanted another NATO member, Turkey, to strike a similar deal with Ukraine and send it a Russian-supplied S-400, which is more advanced than the S-300. Ankara rejected the idea, saying the system would remain in its possession. In 2020, the US imposed sanctions on Turkey for buying the S-400s from Russia under a deal signed in 2017.

.

Whenever the Patriot Missile supplied by America/NATO enters Ukrainian Soil, it will go Kaboom, from Russian Precision Missiles. undecided

Lets hope everyone would see reason to stop supplying weapons to the Conflict but rather work on reaching a negotiation that addresses Russia's concern while protecting Ukrainian Sovereignty, whatever is left of it as of now.

The crazy thing is that if this war drags on for too long, some of those EU countries will be pulling out of the Sanction one by one and start back door negotiation with Russia for gas. I won't put this past Germany sef

Germany would be drastically affected by the war, Russia gas accounts for more than 40% of gas into Berlin, Germany has the largest nato presence in Europe and with time, Germany is going to break and I knw that's what putin is.also waiting for, if.germany breaks, most EU countries that are heavily dependent on Russian gas would follow suit, and this would lead to factions among the EU and NATO themselves, this war is testing the long term existence of NATO,THIS WAR IS THE TRUE TEST OF THE STRENGTH OF THE NATO ALLIANCE

In 2014, when Russia annexed Crimea, EU and America imposed Sanctions.
But gradually over the years, the Europeans (an even America itself!), walked back on some of those Sanctions.
That is how Germany came to depend on Russia for over 40% of its Energy needs. grin grin

Ukraine Leader is just a foolish Man who thinks Wars are won by Propaganda on Tweeter or getting "applause" from foreign Parliaments, otherwise he should have "negotiated" with its neighbour, a long time ago, even before it leads to an invasion.

Russia is not a push-over, as most people want to believe, it is a Nuclear Power of long Standing.
Compared to European Countries the Russia of TODAY is far more powerful than what it was in 1990, when USSR broke into pieces, under American subversion and tactics.

Except America and "tiny" Europe is ready for a Nuclear War (which l very much doubt), Ukraine will just be reduced to "Rouble" under our very eyes and nothing will happen.
I want to predict that at one stage, Russia will >mistakenly" shhot down or shoot something into a NATO member country like Poland or Slovakia or one of those surrounding Nations.
NATO will shout, threaten and throw some "small smokes" into Russian border town and that will be it.
What l dont pray for, is that Russia will respond with overwhelming force on Poland or the country involved, because that can start a real nuclear War,

Given how much "western Culture" loves enjoyment, non of them wil start a Nuclear War with Russia, not even America wants a war where there is "No-Winners".
Russia knows this, America knows this, Europe knows this, the only person who seems not to know this, is Ukraine's Zelensky!

Edit: Those of you above, whose only worry is how to get a Visa to the West or Europe, l can understand your PAIN.
That explains why most of you are against Russia but like l told someone a wekk ago, What if you are even given an American Passport (Not Visa), would that solve all your problems?
Dont be partial just because you are a perennial Visa applicant. There is life after Visa, though l understand the "desperation of most Nigerians"!
They would deny their Mother, if it will get them an American Visa
. grin grin.
