The 1999 constitution of Nigeria is the law of the land. All political appointees must resign 30days before election--in which they will be beneficial. No court should entertain objection to this constitutional provision, period. The reason nothing works in Nigeria is Nigerians always want to change the goal post in the middle of the game to favor them. I cannot wait until president Buhari leaves office before he destroys everything.

Any political appointee that is sure of he or herself should resign and contest to prove their popularity. You can't play two cards, resign first or stay in your position and say bye bye to any political ambition.
