This is stupidity and immaturity in display. The man is a very big and emotional fool. Why kill in the name of relationship? You are not even married to her.
The best thing to do is walk away from the relationship. I know it is painful but with time, the pain can heal and it will even get to a point where you begin to see the girl like any other person.
I once had experience with a girl who broke my heart. I moved on. When she later came back to ask that we reconcile, I couldn't make up because the love/feeling I had for her was completely gone. I couldn't condition myself to love her again. Love or infatuation is just a feeling, it can disappear based on circumstances. Why kill because of that?
