MartinsD12:Same reason Tinubu wasn’t chosen as VP in 2015, is the same reason he will not be chosen as President in 2023. Nothing has changed in the last 8 years. |

I have heard of a version told by a prominent man of God about how Osinbajo was in a prayer meeting in Redemption camp (Ogun State) and the news of his nomination was broken to him by phone call (Albeit by the same Amosun). So this story of him being in Abuja already for a case in Supreme court is puzzling. But one fact remains, God uses man to lift man, Osinbajo was in obscurity until Tinubu brought him up. Maybe that was Tinubu's part in the whole game plan of God but it will be unfair to remove that side of the story. I am indifferent to their presidential ambitions anyway. Not like anyone of them is the messiah |

Tinubu's Blackmail on Osinbajo (including by his minions), will fail woefully. Osinbajo is not desperate to be President, if he is elected, the better for the future of Nigeria, unlike Tinubu who is busy distributing #50M all over the North, hoping he can buy their loyalty! The way he robbed Lagos State of its resources, with multiple taxation on Lagosians, is how he will loot the National Treasury and l can bet, Yoruba people will suffer more under Tinubu, judging by his attitude towards them, in the last 7yrs +. Tinubu will soon ask them: Where are the Cows. ![]() PYO is ordained by God, to rise to the very Peak of Nigerian Politics and in the THREE MONTHS that he was CTING President, we all saw how he calmed the restive Niger Delta and how the people of the South-South trusted him. Today, Militancy has abated in the Niger Delta, despite all attempts by enemies to bring it back. If an Acting president can resolve a Problem that has been lingering for over twenty years, in just three Months, it stands to reason that if given "Full Power as President", he will do a lot for Nigeria. We all know the Post of Vice President, is just a mere "Commissioner" or Puppet, as a V.P can ONLY do what the President allows. E go Shock jagaban, like naked wire. |

Amongst all candidates that have declared so far, osibanjo is the last person I would vote. I ain't blind to his gimmick of silently trying to steal the show. How he got on the nomination list despite zero political popularity showed this analysis is pure lies. Politics is all about capacity and interest, without tinubu support, oshiomole and the rest won't step down for zero popular osibanjo. Nah!! The vp slot is a position to die for especially when the likes of rochas and amaechi also played important roles. |

This account collaborates Baba Akande's version of events that transpired, at least part of it if not all. And from the revelations, it can be said that the VP's rise to power can't be solely attributed to the Magnanimity of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as his loyalist paint it. The office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is not reserved for a single individual, it's for every eligible Nigerian. VP owes it to Nigerians to present himself, if he feels he can serve Nigerians. anyone who feels his up for the Task should come out... #Offfice of the president is not an Inheritance... |

A very reliable source who knows the intoto of Naija politics told me this story recently. First.... I didn't believe it but now there is some credibility to this story. Even without all this, Osinbajo owes no one anything. |

How can Tinubu like El-Rufai even contemplate a Muslim/Muslim joint ticket in the first place? Especially in a Multi-cultural, Multi-ethnic and Multi-religious society like Nigeria. It boils down to one thing, Tinubu may not be as politically calculative, smart or sagacious as he's been projected to be. No offense intended! |

buckeyemedia:Yeah so I think he can't boost he made osinbajo vice president because osinbajo came into the picture because he jagaban was a Muslim, so it's more like rush hour decision not that tinubu wanted osinbajo to become vp , personally I don't see tinubu getting the ticket, buhari and his men doesn't like him even some governor's in his party doesn't like him, tinubu can wake up one morning and remove a sitting governor who doesn't do his bidding |

MartinsD12:The ONLY WAY Tinubu and his foot Soldiers think they can win the 2023 Election, is by BLACKMAILING Prof. Osinbajo to drop out from the race. If Tinubu is so confident that his Bullion Vans can buy him the Presidency, by dashing out #50M in the North, then he should calm down and contest a free and fair Election. Why is he worked Up? Why is he scared? Why is he insulting and throwing Shades at Prof Osinbajo? Why just Prof Osinbajo, is the one scaring Tinubu the most, why not other aspirants? In my own view, l think Tinubu realises that Prof Osinbajo will beat him hands down. I also think that, like every time God wants to do a good thing in somebody's life, the Devil will try everything possible, to scuttle it. God is going to use Prof. Osinbajo to put Nigeria on a recovery Path but the Thieves, the Looters and Ritual-Killing Politicians that use Human Blood to renew their Old age, are bent of preventing it from happening, Nigerians need to be discerning, Religion or Tribe, aside. Tinubu's Supporters are just after his Money but in doing so, they put the future of Nigeria at risk. Those like me, who support and advocate for Prof. Osinbajo are doing so because we believe that this is what is best for Nigeria, l have not met him in Person and l dont intend to, but l will voice out about him, for the sake of my Children and Future Generation. We wont fold our hands and let another aged and worn-out MEDICAL TOURIST to occupy Aso Rock and lead Nigeria backwards. If he likes, let him claim to be 27 years, we all know that the Office of Nigeria's President does not need sickly people who run to London for Medical Checkup, every now and then. |

MartinsD12:If you were Buhari or a member of Buhari team back in 204/15, would you select a zero popular candidate as VP? When the likes of oshiomole, amaechi and rochas all played important roles in the APC. Don't forget Rochas was at the peak of his popularity from south east and oshiomole would have been a perfect mediator to satisfy the west, tinubu and the entire south. These story doesn't add up. |

hnm2023:You can write whatever you like but it is an open secret that Tinubu schemed Atiku and Kwankwaso out in favor of Buhari during the primary election. He also picked Osinbajo against the interest of Amaechi and co. Tinubu also went ahead and campaigned for them across the length and breadth of Nigeria as if he was the one running for president. After winning the election, he was shoved aside by this same people. Fast forward to 2019 when Buhari’s administration was like a shipping vessel listing dangerously, he ran back to Tinubu for help and with the help of oshiomole they were able to steady the ship and they won the election for him again againt all odds. Mind you buhari and osinbajo didn't even utter a word during the 2015 and 2019 campaign besides pronouncing osinbajo as "osinbade". Buhari and osinbajo combined does not make up to 20% of the effort that was put into getting them where they are today and here you are trying to change the narrative. Bunch of ingrates! |

BabaO2:Were you there? Just because the narrative negates your preconceived or already held opinion, does not in anyway changed the fact that if this as narrated is the fact of the Matter, then it remains the fact. The writer clearly mentioned verifiable names for your call up or confirmation, you will do well to get across to them and give us your feedback instead of creating a divergent opinion based on personal preferences. PS: A tree does not make a forest, If Tinubu was that sagacious, why can't he fly with AC and later ACN to the center during successive presidential elections that produced Atiku and Ribadu as it's flagbearer. Remember Buhari on his own pulled about 12million votes under CPC without a merger. So Buhari has the crowd already, his only undoing is his past draconian lifestyle and history, and some extreme religious views held by him. Otherwise without a merger Buhari could have singlehandedly won a presidential election in Nigeria without a merger. I'm always apolitical, but facts of history should always be preserved and presented as they are. If you think this is not, then let Tinubu form another alliance with any other political party or candidate and see if such alliance will get a fly past regional acceptance. It's just unfortunate Buhari did not live up to people's expectation of him. |

formular2002:Osinbajo has never denied Tinubu being his senior in politics. It is not exactly a big deal. Even Tinubu himself was in 'obscurity' until the Awo remnants through Nadeco and afenifere brought them up. We really can't be sentimental, considering Nigeria is almost a failed nation. |
