Atletico can't go toe to toe against Man City for 180 minutes. They will get battered! The best tactic is to defend deep and be brave with the ball whenever they win it back, the latter part of which they failed to do at the Etihad and that was their undoing.

If he had picked few moments to attack Man City in the first leg, maybe it might have been a different story.

Even his formation in the beginning of this second leg was rubbish, i was expecting to see a 4231, or 433 or 4141 or patapata his usual 442 formation, only for him to be giving us 351 with three midfielders playing from the defensive section.

ManCity is relying heavily on fluidity (total football), no exceptional pace (like Liverpool's front 3) and that's why just anyone scores.

It was painful to see Athletico exit this way after giving City a tough second half. If only ATM had played this way in the first leg may be City would have been out.
