He beat her in public. Their neighbors have witnessed it, so have her colleagues. She told someone what he did before she slipped in a coma. Abused people tell everybody what they are going through.

Such men get emboldened when the women don’t leave. They can even do it in front of her parents. There are so many witnesses that he can never escape. Run from a woman who takes your abuse. If you beat someone, the person can have internal injuries and die! Worst is if they are beaten for a long time, there will be traces of those injuries that doctors will see. The guy is going down. Keep your hands to yourself. Human beings and human life is so fragile.
