No excuse for ibos again of reason choosing to die in Lagos. Onne port is working now but we all know no be because of port dem dey troop to Lagos. Dem just dey use that to hide their motives.

I send goods to PH,
And my friend sent it through Lagos.

I paid 80 and he paid 60 per cent.
Why? Because he imports from Lagos while I use Onne.
My goods arrived on the first week of February yet to be cleared by Port Authority but my friend had cleared his goods long ago.

Meaning, that there are issues to be settled in Nigeria.

Where are those saying they deliberately "killed" ports in other regions in favour of Lagos? Now that Onne has successfully welcomed a vessel, can the children of hate with imaginary containers now ship their wares closest to them?!

How is this news..?? Container vessels have been berthing at Onne for as long as I can remember
Yes, we've shipped lots of items from many countries down to Onne, but this is news because if it's size, the length shows it's a very large vessel and has commodity goods.

Most commodity goods or say 90% comes via Lagos. Hence, when something different happens, it's celebrated

Ihope it continues like this. PH is know as the port city.

100% of all shipment happens in Lagos, if we must grow we must decongest.

Long live Nigeria...

PH is just bearing the name 'port city', whilst Lagos handles nearly 100% of all port operations in Nigeria. Shame of a disjointed country, concentrating all its wealth in two cities - Abuja and Lagos, whilst the rest wallow in poverty, penury and unemployment.
You are absolutely right. It's a big shame. A country with 4 ports but just 1 is optimally functional. To an extent, the war in warri, the kidnappings & insecurity in d Niger delta greatly affected PH and warri ports. It's really not an excuse because calabar didn't have d same issues. So this is where governors, senators and house of rep members are supposed to fight for d ports in their states but they are more interested in their selfish agendas

Very intelligent.
Some believe that there something special about lagos.
Aba and onitsha have the biggest markets in Nigeria as a result of Onne and Warri ports. Let them continue with the agenda

only a president from southeast extraction has the balls to adjust this injustice, and that is why northern oligarchy will prefer Nigeria to burn than to allow that, believe one nigeria at ur peril
