APGA National Chairman, Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Oye has commenced the disbursement of Easter packages to 600 indigent persons from Amawbia in Anambra State.

The recipients comprised of indigent men and women carefully selected from the 6 villages that made up Amawbia town, thereafter, smiled home with bags of rice and cash.

The Home of the APGA National Chairman was agog with great happiness and exhilaration as the beneficiaries cheerfully praised God for remembering them at this hard time and showered inexhaustible blessings to Ozonkpu Dr Victor Oye and family.

This timely exercise coincides with the holy week injunctions of our Lord Jesus, who admonished all to always touch lives by indulging in the corporal works of mercy, of almsgiving, prayer and fasting.

The number in the picture is at most 60, but the report says 600.

What actually happened is that a total of 60 people were invited from 6 villages. That is 10 per village. 2 bags were given to each village of 10 invitees. At last, 12 bags were given to 60 people.

Note, the 10 people invited from each village are the most politically connected villagers who decide winners in their respective villages.

Now, 2 bags of rice for 10 highly connected villagers, but making it look like Dangote trailer was offloaded there for 10,000 people.
