I have read the whole content all I can say the analysis of the economy is correct, but others are rubbish how can you be blaming Vp for the woeful performance of the administration. In you analysis you should also consider other forces that has reduced the Vp to nothing.

He can only make recommendations, he will still seek approval from his boss and if the boss is been advised to think otherwise, there is nothing he can do.

When the president was away and he was in charge he was able to do very well, but the cabals thought he want to take over from them and that's when he was reduced to nothing.

There's nothing true in the whole write-up.

1. Osinbajo has since been relieved of his position as head of the economic team. While he was there, he founded the Market Moni shceme and several other programs that made business people fall in love with him.

2. Osinbajo's activity is not directly related to the rising cost of Commodities. Blame Emefiele for that. Emefiele made dollar scarce, giving rise to the eventual fall of the naira, since scarcity breeds price increase. Osinbajo is not to blame but rather the wicked Emefiele.

3. It has been said that Osinbajo had Tinubu's blessings to declare for president. Even if he doesn't, Tinubu cannot use his own selfishness to kill the destiny of another. After 8yrs of a Muslim presidency, another 8yrs of another Muslim presidency cannot fly. Osinbajo knows that Tinubu won't be in the race, hence it would be foolish of him to waste this golden opportunity. In the pursuit of destiny, Osinbajo's declaration cannot be taken as disloyalty. Only fools would reason that way. No one kills his destiny simply because of another. Nigerians are calling for an Osinbajo presidency. He cannot betrays Nigerians, and Nigerians are bigger than Tinubu.

4. Osinbajo's sack of Buharis cousin isn't disloyalty. That shows a man who knows that Buhari is wrong in many ways, but the wrong is enthroned only because Osinbajo is not the one in
power. This particular point establishes the fact that Osinbajo cannot be bullied as president, contrary to some schools of thought alleging that he'll be a weak president.
First let me thank you for specifically addressing the points UNLKIE OTHERS WHO THINKS CRITICISING A CANDIDATES RECORDS IS CALUMNY!
To your first premise. You, in way, admitted that the VP was given the RESPONSIBILITY OF MANAGING THE ECONOMY, your only EXCUSE IS THAT HE WAS NOT FULLY IN CHARGE!!
Honestly I find this excuse EMBARASSING. First the monetary policy is usually defined at the ECONOMIC PLANNING LEVEL. The CBN Governor cannot deviate from the economic plan just like the VP CANNOT BE IN CHARGE OF THE ECONOMY AND ABDICATE FROM MONETARY AND OTHER FISCAL POLICIES. THAT WILL BE THE HEIGHT OF INCOMPETENCE!
Secondly, if he was given responsibility but was not in charge, did he complain to the president?
The VP himself said he and the PRESIDENT NEVER HAD A SINGLE DISAGREEMENT FOR SEVEN YEARS
Is he being PATHETICALLY SYCOPHANTIC OR JUST PLAIN DECEPTIVE?
The point is why WAS HE SACKED AND RELIEVED OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ECONOMY.
WHEN AND WHY WAS HE SACKED AND REMOVED FROM THE SOCIAL PROGRAMS BY THE PREDIDENT?
SIMPLE. BECAUSE HE FAILED.
We are bearing the BRUNT of his failure through HIGH INFLATION, SCANDALOUS EXCHANGE RATE, HIGH DEBT PROFILE, HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT.
THE VP IS NOTHING BUT AN AGENT OF GLOOM, DOOM AND LAMENTATION!

I will always choose Osinbajo over Tinubu any day, anytime, but that doesn't mean the truth shouldn't be said. Without a firm endorsement from Buhari, there is no way Osinbajo can win the APC primaries. Out of the top people vying for the APC Presidential ticket, he's the only one with the weakest political base.

Tinubu seem to have locked down most of the delegates...unfortunately too, Tinubu can stand shoulder to shoulder with the Presidency financially to buy the delegates. Except the Presidency somehow successfully imposes a concensus candidate, Tinubu will be the party's flag bearer come 2023.

And going the concensus way means a guaranteed implosion.

Go and research how 2014 APC primaries went and who did what. Do so with open mind

You'll know that he hasn't locked up anything.

But then, in politics, people state what they wish as fact.

My own take is that Osinbajo has been part of this government and as it is, he is the anointed candidate of Major General Buhari(rtd).
If Osinbajo should become the president of this country, he is going to continue with the Buhari's sinister policies for the first three years at least, Osinbajo heads the various economic teams and the economy of the country is presently at its lowest ebb.
It's a flimsy excuse when people say he can't do anything because he is the VP, if he has not contributed to this government, Buhari would not be anointing him.
I see Osinbajo's government as a continuation of this government whose draconian policies have dwindled our economy to the crunch.
He is going to become another Jonathan in government who can easily be manipulated.
It's high time we shunned sentiments and allowed other people with different ideas to lead us.
Let's shun religion politics, if a traditional worshiper is the chosen messiah to lead this country right, may he be enthroned.
Nobody should bamboozle us with the title of a Pastor. Many Christians are being killed under this government, what are our pastor"s efforts to stop the menace.
The VP said he wants to continue the good works of Buhari, imagine what is it that's good in this Buhari's government?
Do we want to suffer for the next 8 years again?

Good morning, many people didn't call Osinanjo names and didn't mention how bad our economy is until he declared his interest to run for the presidency. Osinanjo who was a "saint" suddenly became an enemy because of his ambition. Most of the calculated attack and write-ups are only springing up after he declared, why, please why?

Is Osinanjo not a Nigerian? Is he not eligible to contest? BAT also said that he want to continue from the good works of PMB so why is Osinanjo say that became a misnomer? This is not the way forward, we must not antagonize people in a bid to sell our preferred candidate.

Many people telling us how bad the security and economy is are the same ppl that told us that "PMB will handle security and Osinanjo will handle economy." The reason why some people see PMB as a bad leader is because of their interest towards 2023 election.

Osinanjo is not perfect ok, asking what he did is important but if he list his achievements you will still say that he only did his job and nothing more. Amaechi declared and someone asked: what is his achievements as the transport Minister? All the railway and other things were listed but he only replied: " if he paid a cobler to shine his shoe and the cobler did exactly his job, is that an achievement?"

Let's stop politics of "bring him down syndrome" and allow all qualified candidate to contest, thank you and have a great day.

He definitely knows Nigerians are daft people that can be deceive anytime using religion card.

Nonsense talk!
The Cables should close shop if they have nothing to sell other than fabrications, it's just a matter of time!
Within 3- months of Osinbajo in saddle of affairs:
- peace reign in every Region, including the Niger Delta, that the VP visited himself.
,-many Emirate and Obas were in his support
- it's on record-virtually all the Southern women came to PortHarcourt to welcome him like no others.
- exchange rate drastically came down during Osinbajo's stayed in Office.
- Ease of doing business was the fastest.
-many foreigners were coming to do business with Nigerians in Nigeria.
So the Cables were in Dubai during all these actions in Nigeria!
Many wants Osinbajo to be fighting his boss- President Buhari, like Atiku was doing against OBJ,so can the Cables tell its audience- what are the specific roles the Constitution placed on the VP that he failed?
Let the Cables state the place in the 1979 Constitution and why are the attacks more now.
Anyway, you should expect news like this because the ship is sailing towards a landing shore and many are jittery! We do understand!
Truth have no further investigation!

Point of correction Monsieur! Electoral law supersedes that of party constitution, a party can adopt any ithe three provisions in the electoral law to conduct a primary. Moreover, consensus has been included in the last convention of apc. Thanks

You knowledge of law is shallow. When it comes to party nomination, the party constitution takes precedence in as much as it is not inconsistent with the electoral act and 1999 constitution.

The electoral act provides for three option for primary. APC through its constitution has adopted two of the three options for presidential nomination. The party’s constitution is consistent with the electoral act so there is no problem at all here.
