I don't even know what it is.

Another question please. How can I upload videos?
That is the Link ribbon marked in the screenshot, click it and paste the link in between.

As for Video upload, and i don't think you can directly upload videos on here except changes have been made to the website code, as far as i know, you can only embed videos on here.

Arguments about revenue which you wouldn't partake in the sharing or even contribute to by watching movies via official channels is something I believe we should have outgrown on this thread.

Films can share similarities without plagiarising the other's ideas.

Original ideas don't exist in Hollywood anymore.
said this the other day on Twitter, original ideas don't exist no more. Like what story do you want to write that hasn't already been acted before it is practically impossible

They easily could have cut out a few scenes and the movie would still be coherent. And I don't know why Batman keeps walking slowly. All in all though the movie was very interesting
To strike fear into the heart of his enemies grin

Or maybe to record the environment so he can watch later.

Oga face front, if you don't like it.

It's also part of the business of Hollywood. You don't like that aspect, we find it interesting. Some people just watch movies and don't know the directors, cinematographers, score composers or screenwriters, some even Don't know some of the actors. But do you chastise them cos they don't share your enthusiasm.
One man meat na another man poison. If you no like am just waka pass, so far it's not deviating or derailing the thread.
Besides all na banter. It's just for learning some things that you might have escaped. I gain extra knowledge from most of the banters here. At times na just fun or steering debate.

Speak for yourself. If you no contribute to the film no mean say others no contribute. Or no get right to discuss or critique. Since na that logic no criticise film na since you no dey movie industry or don produce film for your life before.

Dude you're trying to play down the effect of Shanghai total lockdown. That market is the largest economic hub in China, there's also Guangzhou and Shenzhen which are amongst the top 4 largest economies in China on lockdown. So what you saying. Shenzhen and Shanghai were on lockdown late February weeks before the Batman debuted. And those markets are totally closed off now.
Places like Beijing that even have theaters still open are working with 50% capacity.

It's like locking down New York and California in US and think you'll get any significant money in Box office. When those two regions were lockdown in the US, you saw how Hollywood suffered until they were opened in 2021.

The period No Time To Die debuted those two regions were already getting back open and prolly the first Hollywood title in over year over there. No Way Home was released in a period of relative stability in December... These new Covid spikes started in mid February with stricter lockdowns in late February. NWH had already done 90% if not more of its box office run by then. So NWH and NTTD doesn't count.

Of course I'm aware of its runtime which I stated in almost all my posts and categorical stated China ain't a huge fan of Batman and slow stories. I'm well aware of Aquaman's gross, Wonder Woman and how they live those big spectacle.

I stated Shanghai and some other Southeastern Cities are locked down, but China's very big with about 22 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, despite being economic hubs, they aren't they only cities capable of delivering impressive numbers...

Same applies to the States, while New York and California contribute a lot, a lot of other states do as well. Georgia, Florida, Texas.
Hell, even states like Wyoming and Alaska that do not have the population of the States above do decent business ..

I compared No time to die' box office in Japan and Korea to it's B.O in Italy and Spain..It did more business in the former territories..
No way home did more business in Japan and Korea than it did in Italy and Spain..

Going further back, F9 follows the same pattern..

Even Morbius currently has done a milion(give or take) more in Japan and Korea than it has in Italy and Spain...
The Batman's numbers in Japan and Korea relative to Spain and Italy isn't because of Covid...
Movies released around the same timeframe have all done more in Japan and Korea than Italy and Spain so Covid isn't to blame..

I know China is very big as well as the states but you can't overlook the impact of the major states.
I also failed to mention Florida, it was amongst those states locked down that distorted US BO in 2020/21.

No Time To Die and NWH box office I ain't disputing that cos they ain't in same timeframe Asia started experiencing increased Omicron cases and lockdowns. They were last year when things were stable while NWH was concluding it's run as China, Korea and Japan started talks of lockdown in February.

I still insist Covid had some significant impact in The Batman's gross. Here's Hollywood recent movies performance. Stop using last year's movies that released when things were getting good.

Japan($4mn) and Korea(5mn) grossed less than Italy($6.7m) and Spain ($12) grosses for Uncharted. For Death on the Nile: Spain (4mn), Italy (6mn) while Japan (4.5) and Korea (1.8].
For Sonic The Hedgehog 2: Spain (2.2), Italy (1.8] while Korea is $1mn. Scream had Spain (2mn), Italy (1.1] while Korea had just $15k.

You can see the trajectory, Morbius was just the exception. Even box office analyst mentions rising covids when reporting The Batman's gross in China and Asia. Italy and Spain keep earning more when they are traditionally lower than Korea and Japan who are in top 5 markets.

Although you're right that the movie is playing slightly normally it would in Japan, but that doesn't negate the fact that COVID possibly limited it based on analysis of current market.

Bring your ar-15 na you know.

Recently You're always coming here to tell people who didn't watch movies at theatres to shut up and stop arguing about the said films because they didn't contribute to the BO.
You did that with No Way Home digital release. You did that with one movie late last year I can't remember, prolly an MCU flick. You're doing same with the Batman.

And I don't see anyone arguing box office stats during the time you sent your retort except for me and AnfieldFan. Unless maybe I blind and I no get understanding again. undecided

How come nobody here has rated The Batman...

Anyway for me...The Batman 8.5/10

As usual, there seems to be a law in Gotham against light bulbs...movie was dark and gritty as they intended...batman was more vulnerable and not the cold strong monster the previous movies made him out to be (not the Nolan Trilogy oh)
Batman actually did a lot of detective work in this movie...I didn't buy his short romance with Catwoman tho...

The Batman - 8/10

Impressive performance from Robert Pattison. I expected the ending to bang more than it did but I'm still impressed though. I hope they'll make a sequel.

You don't need to mention him explicitly because it's visible to the blind that he's the one on the revenue argument with Ânfieldfan.

People argue all sorts of things concerning movies on here, the ones you don't like or find interesting, just ignore.

Superhero movies will never cease to amaze me with their silly no kill rule

Batman refused to kill villains...but was okay having a car chase with one all over the streets and causing massive explosions with cars and tankers which they won't show but led to the death of many civilians
I'm surprised the police didn't arrest him for that sef
