Try Beko. It is a Turkish product. You can Google their products.

Although, I read online that Older model's (2006/07) models in the UK were recalled because some were catching fire.

I called their Nigerian sales rep and they said they currently don't have the chest freezer in stock but my customer who is their distributor still has about three of their products and they gave me the go ahead to buy from him.

When I get home, I'll send you Beko Nigeria 's sales rep's number.

I bought a thermocool double door fridge 10 years ago,still working perfectly,no rust
and never don a single repair,still freezes and cools like day one. Bought a thermocool freezer from a dealer 2 months ago,I am still questioning if its truly a thermocool product. Freezes fast,but can't hold content in the freezer frozen for a day. I am not just mad but angry at how thermocool went from 100 to zero over the years.

New Product alert and then am done,I don't care it the name of the product is inscribed in Chinese,as far as it does what a freezer is suppose to do and then I am switching lanes.

The 250litres double door I've been using since 2008 still works PERFECTLY.
No rust, no Fade, No nothing. It is Very neat and even the fridge compartment freezes if we have more than 12 hours of supply.

The freezer compartment retains ice for nothing less than 3days and that double door is one of my most prized possessions.

Their products used to be so good and all of a sudden their quality dropped. Expensive and Useless what their Fridge and Freezer are now.

During the Easter break, I decided to go back to pick up the freezer since nothing was done to remedy the situation and there’s no end in sight to how long I’d stay without hearing from HAIER THERMOCOOL. The freezer paint looked faded in some parts.

Just last week, my wife called me to inform me that the freezer stopped cooling. The green power light still comes on, but the freezer doesn’t cool anymore. I’ve never used a generator to power this freezer, whenever it’s low voltage, the freezer is disconnected from the mains and I always use a voltage stabilizer to run this freezer.

Talk about poor quality product!

it doesn't even last over night,
after 78hours of constant power supply,
Once power supply was down, it took just 4 hours everything in the freezer compartment is back to water! They promised 3days on their page!

I don't know if its a refrigerator or a cooling cupboard Lol ��

I for just buy chest freezer instead so I will know all I will be seeing is ice blocks that's better than this uselss expensive container!
They just put me on a long thing,

FINAL UPDATE ON DEFECTIVE THERMOCOOL FREEZER

After over 7months (30th December 2021) of chasing Haier Thermocool to fix their defective product, and resorting to communicate with them via Facebook messenger, I found out that,

The customer care service of Haier Thermocool is very very poor. They delay in responding to messages, they promise to get back to customer and they won’t and one will have to keep reminding them over and over of their promises.

2. The ‘repair job’ was shoddy and very poorly done. It’s akin to a Road side refrigerator repair job. When the freezer was returned eventually after their ‘repairs’, I noticed the inner aluminum lining on the freezer where contents are stored was opened for the repair and was not properly reinstalled and sealed again. The freezer chills as should, but in 24hrs after power outage, the whole contents thaws and leaks water to the floor which wasn’t the way it behaves prior to their repair.

3. The rusted portion was done but a paint or rust protection treatment was applied and it has a different colour from the entire cabinet.

4. The faded cabinet was not fixed or sprayed but ignored and the lower rusted part which a paint was applied to has a different colour and makes the whole product unsightly and utterly disgusting.
