Poor management. I doubt that though. Do you believe chelsea could play high pressing game before. Tuchel did that. There is a problem with man utd coaching team and team selection.
Lingard went to west ham and was running the show there too but came to man utd and back to his dead form

You can play a high pressing game with any team honestly. The issue here is man u players are lazy and their work rate is shocking. I will fault Ragnick's selections and tactics too. Poor managment is allowing player power, not offloading the deadwood and not recruiting right players who want to play for the badge. Lingard wanted to leave in january, the stupid board blocked it after ragnick approved his leaving. The management of Man U are not ambitious and are only concerned about taking out dividends and social media buzz.

Man Utd hired him as a caretaker manager, and all they allowed him to do was bring a few coaches with him. That's it.
