Okay, what's your alternative then?

We are not a rich nation. The money we earn is enough for a nation less than ten million people.

We can pretend that our works budget is enough to keep all the roads well maintained, or we can be honest, and realise that it isn't enough for a country our size.

Ye can abuse me, ye can call me names, but Nigeria is not rich, and APC is a failure because they do not have ways of making us earn extra money.

Good morning.

Nobody is abusing you, so stop getting defensive.

If Lagos stops pouring money into Tinubu's pocket, there would be enough to fix the roads.

Lagos is the richest state in Nigeria, when it comes to IGR. They make about 43 billion every year.

So where does the money go to?? Have you seen their financial statements before?? The state government has refused to do a detailed analysis of how it spends the revenue they have collected, because people will spot the loopholes.

This was the same Lagos that Fashola governed and claimed to have spent millions developing an ordinary website!!

Ambode came in and claimed to have spent millions on diesel at a price higher than prevailing market rates, to buy diesel to power street lights!!

When their figures were challenged by the public, both men and their aides went mute, instead of tendering facts, documents and figures to support their assertions!

Lagos is a big cesspool of corruption and waste.

Take it or leave it.
