On the 29th of March; 2022, that's exactly 3 weeks ago, I was in my shop at Sango Ota area of Ogun State when a guy claimed to be a Corper came to my shop where I've been managing my business for a while.

When he came, he said he wanted to withdraw N35,000 (Thirty five thousand naira) and he was not with his ATM card, he requested for my bank account for him to do the transfer in order for him to collect cash of the said amount.

He claimed to have transferred the sum of N35,000 to my bank account and we waited for awhile for the alert to dropped for him to collect the cash.

We waited and no alert show up and painfully I took him for whom he claimed to be (Youth Corper), though he was not on Corper's uniform but he showed me some pictures of himself on his phone with NYSC Uniform and said he wanted to use the money for important and urgent assignment.

He finally played on my emotion when he decided to snap himself on my phone, he actually collected my phone and snapped himself for me to be comfortable that he his genuine person.

I gave him the sum of N35,000 he claimed to have transferred, he gave me his phone number that I can put call across him in case I didn't receive the alert but he was assuring me that; I will surely receive it.

Lo and behold, I didn't see the alert and I later put calls across him, initially he said he will either come back with the ATM or he will send his younger brother with the ATM card for me to withdraw the money directly.

When I didn't see either him or his brother, I kept calling and funny enough he went ahead and blocked my line, ever since then all efforts to get to him proved abortive. I chose to wait for a while before I take this measure may be he will show up and give me my money but up till this moment no response from him and no means to reach him for the number he gave me is not even going again. I've been trying to call him with different phone numbers.

I hope he himself will see it here and do the needful or anyone either his friends or any of his family members can see this and reach out to him.

First thing use his number and name to trace his social media.

Sorry bro.Thats very bad.People have been using this format to scam people,some will even send fake alert.You should have get something like a security to trace him apart from his phone number and pictures.Even if found he can deny your claim because you don't have any witness.You should be very careful in cases like this.Make sure the person you want to do this kind of thing with,is someone you knew and still come with guarantor and written agreement.This is Nigeria.I pray he is found,hope is not lost.I wish the best of luck and recover from this sad event.

Found the guy.. He's been caught again and in the police station.

He did fake alert of 100k to my wife and went away. But he was caught in a hotel nearby and currently in the police station
