You are not entitled to your own facts, even if you have right to choose whoever you want as a hero.
You have not provided any facts to counter the argument backed by facts raised against Boro here.

Ijaw nation have a knack for calling charlatans their heroes.
Harold and Boro called Balewa and the North the saviors of Ijawland.
Currently I just read a thread on Ijaw Facebook, where Sani Abacha is being hailed as Ijaw hero by Ijaws.
I don't have the time to read your wailings.

If you want to cry because of Ijaws and Adaka Boro, that is your headache. You are an Ibo man, I do not owe you any explanation about an Ijaw man.

Adaka Boro is not just an Ijaw Hero, he is a Hero of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria.

That's why federal institutions are named after him.

Nothing will change that.

He will be celebrated as usual next month.

The same way they are now using one fo0l called oyigboupdate. The storyline is always the same. There will always be one overambitious person who expects the world to revolve around him.... and in the course of achieving his delusions, fall prey, becoming a willing tool in the hands of the enemy.
And like always, the end for all useful idiots is the same. Disgraceful.

TonyeBarcanista, a Bayelsa Ijaw reopened old wounds with his story of Adaka Boro. Unlike what a lot of people were told about him,, its time to tell the real story of his expolits.

Story of Adaka During His 12 Day Revolution

1. Adaka 12 Day Revolution was responsible for sacking Non-Ijaws from Yenagoa, an Epie capital the Ijaws claimed as theirs.

2. Adaka banned movement of activities and chased out the Police from the Yenagoa province just as IPOB is doing in the east.

3. Adaka imposed levy and fines on non-Ijaws of Yenagoa province and killed those who stood against him.

4. Adaka himself said his anger was borne out of his cry over the death of his benefactor and "Hero of the Ijaw nation" Alhaji Tafawa Balewa in a coup he accused Igbos of sponsoring.

Then the Police action by Ironsi happened and Adaka was thrown into jail.

Adaka After His Release By Gowon

1. During the civil war, Adaka knowing he had the arms and support from the government unleashed the most evil killings against Rivers people, non-Ijaws from the Epie tribe, Brass and Ogbia too were not spared.

2. Adaka's third brigade used the cover of the war and backing of the Adekunle led third marine commando to do the following.

3. He carried out genocide in Bonny and burnt down the palace of King Secondus Pepple. Today the Perekule palace of Bonny is situated in a new site instead of the former. King Pepple had to flee to Port Harcourt before the city later got captured by the federal forces.

4. Evil Adaka was responsible fot the war-of-brothers-against brothers in Kalabari and Okrika that succeeded in piting blood relations with brutal killings taking place in Bakana, Abonnema etc. The Toboniju and Koniju crisis affecting Okrika today had its offshoot from that conflict.

5. Adaka head hunted King Jaja of Opobo with the King fleeing to join Ojukwu in Umuahia. The story was told that as he landed in defenceless Opobo, he took his anger on the peope same way he did at Bonny, by asking why a suposedly Ijaw town was speaking Igbo. Dude began shooting at anything that moved.

6. Adaka was a monster that fate killed. Fate with the help of Adekunle killed Adaka. Adekunle was said to be unhappy with the disobedience to order by Boro and his wanton killing of the non-Ijaw populace of Rivers and now Bayelsa. His brutal killings of mostly the Igbo people and landgrabbing of non-Ijaw land was never seen.

So on the issue of Adaka Boro, your opinion does not matter, you are inconsequential.

They are celebrating the same Sani Abacha who killed Saro Wiwa in their groups, just because Bayelsa State where they get the opportunity to lord over other minorities was created by Abacha and I'm sure that they are also happy that Wiwa who had become a torn to the flesh of Ijaw hegemony and nepotism in the old Rivers State was finally out of the way.

That's how these people reason.
Including them in Biafra was the chief reason I gave up on IPOB and MNK.

Eastlink nice one.
The post is filled with the bitter truth many of our people avoid, especially the ones from Bonny and Opobo.
But the problem here is that it is not a mere history because it is an unfinished business that is still boiling.

The myopic attitude of our people that make them sweep things like this piece under the carpet is the reason why the same culprits have the impetus to call for renewed cultural genocide on Bonny in recent years.

This information is a must know for every igbo man and woman.

I have never seen an Ijaw made a reasonable and logical statement or decision...look at Boro , Asari Dokubo etc. The ones that are sensible and reasonable are the mixed one who are part Igbo or other tribes.

If not , how can anyone call Boro a hero after reading all the atrocities he committed in old Rivers and his own brothers interview. Boro was a northern puppet who acted exactly like these primitive bunch of Ijaw minions on NL.

Nnamdi Kanu adding Ijos into Biafra doesn't mean that all Igbos accept it. We were simply docile, but now we are reading all the things done by the evil Ijos in the past, and their mission, most Igbos are becoming vocal with it. We know you people are evil and mean only evil. And it's good, becuase if you people were silent and were added to Biafra, God knows the havoc you'll cause when given the added freedom.

You're not vocal becuase Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba can checkmate you. But if you people are in Biafra and added with the majority tribes there, that is Igbo, you people would be ruthless, and begin to cause so much confusion. As I've said over and over again, if we do break away and Ijos are added, I'll be the one to gather people and protest. They can never BE PART. You guys can kill the mini tribes in Ijaw Republic as you wish, so that when you're done fully assimilating them you won't go for other cultures.

Should we celebrate that demonic Ojukwu before grin I am glad that you are a member of ijaw group and you can see that the Okrikans and kalabaris and co are not buying you demonic Igbo history lol. All the ijaws in Nigeria including the Kalabaris and the Okrikans and co see Ada Boro as their hero, you igbos attempt to turn Port Harcourt into an Igbo city as fail and will continue to fail. The ijaws in Rivers state will never allow you land grabbing Igbo criminals to steal their ancestry lands.
That's why the kalabaris celebrate go to abonnema, the defeat of Igbo people by the Nigerian army cause they know who their enemies are, Okrika people on the other hand, no wan carry eye see anything Igbo. grin
So this your dumb brother Eastlink and his 419, twisted history is dead on arrival. The ijaws in Rivers state knows who their enemies are and it is Igbos
And btw, have you igbos allow the minority tribe in Abia, Imo, Anambra Enugu and Ebonyi rule those States? Fvcking Igbo clown.

Isaac Adaka Boro will always remain a hero to all Okrika ijaw people so this your desperate attempt to defame him will never work Igbo man. Okrika people are too ijawnized to listen to anything from an Igbo osu like you. We share nothing in common with igbos,I wonder why you are so desperate to mention my people into your delusion. grin
The problem of Okrika people are igbos
From the descendants of Igbo slaves causing problem in Okrika,to Odili nearly wiping out all Okrika people out of the surface of this earth using Ateke,to you Igbos supporting ikwerres to oppress Okrika people in Rivers state for 19 years and counting and so on.
But don't despair, we are on the brink of getting rid of the menace Igbo from our society. And btw, Tonye is 100 %an Okrika son.
