If only Netflix could release some of their multi million dollars movies in theatres for a limited period. Even if it's for 2-3 weeks, they could easily recoup at least half the production spend and still retain the benefit in subscriber base.

I saw the preview and expected a movie featuring epic fights with the dragons. Pacific rim style.

Americans taking on dragons in attack choppers subs and prototype vehicles.

Not an epilogue type movie where the dragons had already won and human beings were the endangered species.

Classic what I saw in the preview vs what I got in the movie

Only thing that movie had was matthei mchjnaugehy on way too much testosterone.

I'm a firm believer in diversity, but when Netflix began promoting pedophilia-themed films like 'Cuties', I had to draw the line. That film was made at the expense of children. There is no need to display such filth; anyone can learn any lesson without exploiting children by dressing them up in sexually suggestive clothing and displaying them sexually. It's gotten to the point where they're not even being subtle about pushing the woke agenda, it's basically in all their originals.

One of the best decisions I've ever made was cancelling my Netflix subscription.

True. It's still going to be a big player in the foreseeable future. Being an industry pioneer leader doesn't just take a year or months to erode such expertise.

One thing that makes me confident Netflix forsaw this drag is the way they're investing in niche genre entertainment. Their spending on anime and gaming titles is just gonna keep them stable for the time being. Those genre are massively exploding into mainstream and just like their previous insight, they're quickly setting up themselves as pioneers.
