So lucrative handwork. Forget what people think or say. You can even grow your handwork to the extent that you can have offices where white collar workers (e.g accountants , managers ) can come and work.

But a good manager can transcend a business to be worth more and more over the years and therefore increasing the possibilities of earning more from the business

Learning a skill is better, because you'll be your own motivation. And because you know you own the business, you'll not sleep on it; you'll give it your best to elevate its status

Although your wages may not be constant but if you perfect the skill properly, you'll earn more than a 100k each month (depending on the skill too though)

Forget what people are telling you: if you’re are still young, I’d advise you take up the 100k job for now and learn the skill while on the job if you can. To run an enterprise effectively, you need experience in dealing with people; you need to know how organizations are structured; you need to learn financial discipline. Most importantly, you need exposure and contacts: trust me, picking up that job is one of the easiest ways to achieve these.

You can learn the skill a little and set up an enterprise where you employ people and you can continue with your Job.
The only difference between a salary job and someone who has a skill is the freedom to control your time. When times like the Covid period hit, you would understand your skill can be useless unless you have enough savings. This excludes online skills that can be utilized remotely.

skills stay with you for life once you acquire them... The only way such a business can crumble is if it's mismanaged.

How am I contradicting issue here? My stand here is a lucrative physical hand work pays. In present day Nigeria economy,how many things can 100k do for an average working citizen who will have to transport to work,with physical handwork, you have the chance of getting contract/projects that runs in millions in a month. And I don't think you should quote/blame me for thinking in billions.
