It was amid pump and pageantry that the federal lawmaker, representing the good people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, and now, a PDP Aspirant for 2023 - Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, - assured of his intent for consolidation.

For well-meaning Sons and Daughters of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, it was a dream come true as they became partakers in unveiling a plan to consolidate a changing narrative, through a representation whose unprecedented performance in the chequered political history of the Constituency, in less than three years, has become a case-study.

Surprisingly, even at short notice and poor publicity, the crowd was so overwhelming, signposting the readiness of the electorate to sustain the narratives.

The atmosphere at the Country homes of Apex Leaders of Ahiazu Mbaise PDP and Ezinihitte Mbaise PDP ( Chief PGU Madu and Air Comr. Luke Ochiulor (Rtd), respectively) were of both jamboree and carnival, with very pleasant and captivating displays of lush celebrations, amid tears of nostalgia, in solidarity with the ambition of a man who has come to be cherished and loved by his people due to an infectious aura of selflesness and human relations, including the capacity to unassumingly perform beyond expectation.

The event turned into thunderous shouts of Nwachinemere! Nwachinemere! And other befitting songs that heralds the presence of an illustrious son, whom the people were well pleased with, and expecting to do more(Carry go), as he approached the microphone. And Yes, in Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Emeka Chinedu is undoubtedly an enigma!

In responding to the clarion call as well as outlining the basis that gave justification for his aspiration for second term, a visibly elated Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, who refused to read any prepared speech due to time, and the need to ease the pains of teeming supporters who believed and advised against a declaration, but acceptance, especially on the backdrop of numerous endorsements, only summarized his mission thus: “I am appreciative of the faith my wonderful people have reposed in me. I am not unaware that in Politics, even if you build Dubai, interested individuals must aspire to challenge you.

"Fortunately, I would not have succeeded without the genuine support of all and sundry. I also know my people and know that this trust and clamour for continuity is not only rare and predicated on my performance, but also the ingenuity of our Leaders, whose advice to other wonderful and interested contenders was to sheathe their Sword in order to allow for consolidation of what I have started especially with the noticable evidence of changing Narratives.

"Thankfully to God almighty, I have within the limits of my capacity, delivered on the promises I made to you in 2019 about changing the Narratives through a representation with human face.

"Today, every ward in our federal Constituency can attest to having one or more of my signature projects or empowerments and those who are yet to get major ones are captured in this year's budget, while my core duties which centers on proper legislation have received your kind appraisals as fantastic",

The rave of the moment, while promising to do more, opined that, "the leadership of the two LGAs must decide on the type of legacy project, he would be leaving behind - be it world class or Standard Hospital - something that would be used to remember that, once upon a time, Hon. Chinedu, represented his people in such capacity."

As he spoke, it was an ovation all the way from the audience, which sustained the show of appreciation for the choice of a true representative, that has evidently kept his covenant with the people. It then became obvious that the strategy of Hon. Emeka Chinedu's second term, is designed to achieve proper consolidation of the changing narratives, where the level of simplicity in his representation with enviable human relations, is generally acknowledged to be totally unusual, while he rounded off, thus:

“Fellow Constituants, I testify with utmost humility, that my life has been wonderfully blessed by God almighty, which is one of the reasons I do some of the things I do with my personal funds. It is also instructive to assure that, there is no way I can take my second coming for granted . I assure you all that it will never be in my character to stop what I have started or decide to fill more pocket at the detriment of the people I was sent to represent their interest, because experience has taught me that, with sincerity of purpose in anything you do, the people will definitely see the reasons to trust their leaders, as well as rally round them for a peaceful society that is anchored on love and togetherness"; while it was all special thanks to the duo of Ahiazu PDP and Ezinihitte PDP Chairmen, Hon. Prince Ibe Obolobo and Hon. Chijioke Njoku, respectively.

For the Director General, Emeka Chinedu Political Campaign Organization, Chief Kingsley Njoku, it was a dream come true for him in particular, and a thank you fo Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, for not disappointing in his mandate.

For the good people of Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, it was all about consummation of a reward system that is anchored on the consolidation of the wonderful choice they made in 2019 as speaker after speaker, ranging from Chief Ugwibe, Chief Steve Onu, Chief Iheanacho (Ikemba), Chief Barr. PGU Madu, Hon. Barr. Ichie Ken Agbim, Dr. Shia Azu- Okorie and a host of others, took turns to eulogize a man who has shown a different level of capacity in representation, bringing the climax to a point where the Leaders of Ahiazu, the Executives and entire people present, unanimously agreed that a motion be moved for adoption of Hon. Emeka Chinedu to solely run for second term to represent the people of Ahiazu Mbaise/ Ezinihitte federal constituency, come 2023.

As was mandated by the great people of Ahiazu Mbaise, the Motion was subsequently moved by Hon. Barr. Ken Agbim and seconded by Chief Hyacinth Osuagwu, for the Ayes to have it in the absence of naysayers.

It was no different in Ezinihitte Mbaise, where the fiesta climaxed through another Motion, moved by erstwhile Ezinihitte House of Assembly representive, Hon. Oliver Enwerem and seconded by Hon. Dr. Ekennia, Hon. Bruno Ukaoha, Hon. Barr. Anyadike Nwosu, Chief Mrs. Getrude Iroeme, Chief Emeka Aririguzo, Hon. Chimaroke Abah, Mrs. Esther Aguwamba and a host of others, for the Ayes to also have it in the absence of naysayers.

7. A MOTION ON THE NEED TO CURB THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL BY UNDERAGE YOUTHS IN NIGERIA - sponsored to curb the disturbing trend of Youths' reckless alcohol intake, which has a damaging effect on human physical health, brain development, and disorganization of their behavioral patterns

8. MOTION ON THE NEED FOR FOR GOVERNMENT TO ESTABLISH MEDICAL CLINICS IN ALL AIRPORTS IN NIGERIA IN ORDER TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF HEALTHCARE AND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AT THE AIRPORTS

Emeka Chinedu was among the Federal Lawmakers that called on the Federal Government to include us in the borrowing plan that excluded the South East of Nigeria.

2...Training and Empowerment of youthful Ahiazu/Ezinihitte rural farmers on fish Value Chain Aquaculture who went home with the knowledge of Fishery Farming and Feed making, plus not less than =N=30,000 (thirty thousand naira) each at the end of the program.

3... Distribution of customized Hand Sanitizers worth Millions of Naira as a safety measure against the novel Covid-19 pandemic, in March 2020.

4... Donation of food items worth millions of Naira, which were packed to include: Rice, Beans, Garri, Indomie Noddles and Tomatoes, in line with his desire to join hands in cushioning the excruciating effect of COVID-19 influenced Lockdown on the poor, the needy and the less privileged in the Federal Constituency, which was distributed through traditional rulers of the 42 Autonomous Communities in the Consistency and PDP leaders in April 2020

5... Financial donation to Ahiara Diocesan Food drive with the view to cushioning the effect of COVID-19 pandemic/Lockdown on the poor, the needy and the less privileged in April 2020; which attracted blessings in a "Letter of gratitude" from the Apostolic Administrator, and the entire Ahiara Catholic faithful.

6... Deployment of personal Ambulance to the Constituency, for safety against eventualities and emergencies of COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020.

7.....Launching and deployment of Mobile Clinics with qualified medical practitioners to provide the following Services:

(i). First Aide to the Sick;
(ii). evacuation of the Sick to the hospital in case of emergency and
( iii). Medical Counseling

Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, who was nicknamed "Mr Project" (apologies to Prince Obolobo, Chairman Ahiazu PDP) during the occasion, was not only appreciated for donating the sum of =N= 2.6 million for the construction of Ezurezu Mbaise Civic Hall but also got tremendous applause for joining other well-meaning Nigerians in condemning and interrogating the incessant and unwarranted harassment of Mbaise born Supreme Court Justice, Mary Odili.

Speaking during the occasion, Hon. Emeka CHINEDU, who distributed a brochure containing pictorial shreds of evidence of his massive Scorecard of two years and six months, also emphasized some of his Interventions, especially an Mbaise son, whom, due to bureaucratic bottleneck, was abandoned in the position of Vice-Principal, for many years, in Abuja. According to the people's honorable, a reprieve came to the brother, through his Intervention. Today in Abuja, the brother is not only a full-fledged School Principal but also enjoying the full benefits of his meritorious service to fatherland.

He also made mention of another Mbaise son, Iwu, who was arrested in Lagos and transferred to Abuja for allegedly embarking on a business without a licence, and was set free through his (Chinedu) Intervention on personal recognition, while an Mbaise daughter, married to an Mbano man, who was left on chains after being declared mentally deranged, also became her normal self, when he (Chinedu) single-handedly took her to a psychiatrist home in Bini City, where she got perfect medical attention; and other humanitarian Interventions too numerous to mention.

Even a chancellor representing a region in one LGA in Lagos can boost of 4 road project in 4yrs of his tenure.
