False!
Mermaids are not real.
Their morphology does not support their survival in water, especially deep waters where they are claimed to live.
The water pressure will crush their abdominal cavity and organs.
Their eye and socket size will naturally not be same with humans and this is essential to their survival in water.
To swim faster in water, they do not need arms, if at all, a very short arm, but best bet, a fin.
They are not streamlined enough for survival in deep sea where they are claimed to live. The shoulder will cause a high viscous drag
Questions arising include;
- do they have lungs or gills?
- do they reproduce asexually or asexually?
- are they viviparous, oviparous or ovoviviparous?

They do exist.
And they don't really let others know.
And the few that encountered them, even when they tell the tale, many won't believe still.

And they really are not pretty.
Their true form is grotesque
But they can morph to be beautiful to seduce and entice.

Serve Jesus and be blessed.

My late Mom swears by it. She saw a male and a female by the Riverside in her youth. She didn't even know what it was when she first saw the female come out of the water and later the male came out and joined her. She said she was rooted to the spot. They came to the shore to play and returned. She told this story too many times.

PS ... Not once in my life did I ever hear my Mom utter a lie or support a lie. I believe Mermaids and Mermans exist/existed.

Mermaid is real n exist... I don't need to watch d video.

In calabar, we had 2 mermaid. Husband n wife...the likes of Peter effiom n many others kept them at peace with sacrifice n that was during Gov Donald duke time.

Donald duke acknowledge it n at some point brought about carnival in calabar n building of that mermaid in d name of Mary slessor.

Lastly when Donald duke left the seat imoke came in n never acknowledge it because e his from North cross River n dey have less ideas about it compare to an efik man.

The husband who was fierce n known as ANANSA started destroying roads ..... Imagine building a rd across a carnal n in one day rain, it ur been scattered??

This shit happens!!

Lastly, the brought some India men who over powered the ANANSA n was taken away leaving the Wife which is presently the oldest mermaid in calabar.

I don't know about now if we have more.

But I will let u know that Calabar is surrounded by water n have powerful mermaid that if please makes the city flourish.

Right now Calabar is hell, those olden ways are not practice agn...

IMoke destroyed the Mary slessor round about because e didn't buy into the mammy water stuff.... Ask anyone during Gov imoke time, e was rushed to India, almost dead and that Mary slessor round about mermaid was built back in one month and sacrifices were made to apeace it. So rest!!!

Abi is it marina water that they will fix light and at night the woman will come n scatter it??

She will send a message that she doesn't want light facing the water at night. Good 5 times b4 she warn the contractor at night that next time everybody will die.

Before it was stopped.

U don't need to believe it, but this shit are real

I don't know if mermaid are real
But I love that their shape and look....

Slim in a very attractive way...gracefully stylized.. mysteriously slick....beautifully bare and simple
I just love them naturally...

It has affected my way of life....to the extent that most times I always prefer slim women....
But make them return the mermaid o..before the full family go begin invade us...."invasion of humans by mermaid "
as far as I long to see your posts here, this one, no be am at all.

So how. Is a mermaid like.. cuz all I see is that ur stereotype to believe they must be white and long haired...

What I saw in that video is pure mermaid ... Even the. Movement of her hand corresponds with that if. Her find...

U will also notice the. People in the. Video are trying to demystify her.. why couldn't dey pull down her. Lower body.. it's naturally attacked to her upper abdomen that's. Why

I am sorry to say this but a black man has been conquered mentally, let America approved that video as a mermaid then you will see most brain washed blacks shift their stance. Humans only have 10% knowledge about what abides in the oceans, it is pure ignorance to discard any phenomenon from the ocean when we barely know 10% about it.

Mermaids do exist, there were numerous sightings from Dutch sailors in the 16th century, they do bring bad luck to ships and are not beautiful as portrayed nowadays by media.

There are many phenomenon that are being encountered worldwide, like big foot sightings, etc there are many groups on Facebook one can join to get other people's encounter with strange stuffs worldwide, you will see people from America , Canada , Britain Philippines etc posting about encountering many strange phenomenons but if you try it here, all hell will let loose......a black man is quick to castigate instead of asking questions, and questions is what make a society great.

Examples of pages you can like/join on Facebook to get worldwide in-depth knowledge about sightings of some strange entities
1. Mysterious creatures ( cryptozoology)
2. Ancient Aliens

They exist, if you those in riverine area can testify. I have seen one far back in late 80s in Orogodo River in Delta state. It came out to the River bank, she was there close to an hour before she returns back into the river.

If mermaids exist, they can never look the way people visualise mermaids to look.
