If you have never taken one child out of the streets or help someone achieve a feat with your financial assistance, it's useless spending it on dogs. Especially if the dog does not guarantee any commercial value.

Some of us will rather use our funds to help the helpless than buy things of little or no value.

Dogs love unconditionally
There are guard dogs, guide dogs, low blood sugar detection dogs, life saver dogs etc
Some could even play volleyball etc
It depends on its training at infancy.

I used to have this same mindset until I began studying dogs. A dog can even take a bullet for you or swim to try to save you. They can lose their lives for your sake.
You’d even get to love your trained dog more than many human beings.

Cats are at the bottom
They are unbothered and useless
They don’t give a damn

You can start with a golden retriever if you have money.
I don’t think golden retrievers can bite or have any sort of sinister look
My best breed is white gsd, they could serve as guards, pets etc
