He may need to stop his bank from sending him SMS. I think email alert is free but banks charge N50 for stamp duty on each transaction

We all don't received SMS alert. I opted out of SMS and USSD banking for accounts.

Not all Nigeria are aware though... Some banks make sms compulsory.
