Funny reason...

Peter Obi is a bona fide Lagos boy.

He has been based in Lagos long enough to know how strategic the state is as the leader in the quest for massive industrialization of the country.

But beyond that, a good president should think along replicating Lagos across the six geopolitical zones...
Moreso, satelite cities should at least be spurned from Lagos..why have the likes of Sagamu, Abeokuta and even Ibadan refused to feed from the affluence of Lagos? Poor planning and wrong priorities!
