Am not brushing sanitation aside .
Abuja is the most properly maintained city in west Africa..but Kigali is ahead on dat part..

Over all In terms of economy of both cities, jobs , serenity,landscape, landmass, skyline ,roads ,rail and everything that makes up a city..

Once you put all in consideration...Abuja is slightly ahead..

D only thing I will give Kigali for is power and cleanliness

There is Kisumu City too, which is located at the shores of the biggest lake in Africa, Lake Victoria. Nakuru City with the lake and the flamingoes is an iconic site also.

Their ignorance is their business, you think everybody in this continent knows about Lagos or Abuja? Good things happening elsewhere in this continent do not deprive Nigeria off anything. Mombasa is well known world wide, numerous tourists visit the city each year. Mombasa Old Town dates back to 900AD and is an official UNESCO World Heritage site.

That power and cleanliness are the edge and then safety. Kigali is the safest city in Africa,how safe is Abuja with constant kidnappings and security agents abusing citizens? You can't compare day and night, i live in Abuja and have been to Kigali twice, not only Kigali, Rwanda is sweet dear.

U see why we need leaders with 21st century transformational brain and not all these ancestors coming to continue from where they stopped.

Most cities in Africa have some form of slums and informal settlements. Because of rampant migration from rural areas, but that doesn't define everything that is this continent of Africa. Last time I checked Makoko was the biggest slum in this continent, dwarfing by far any other slum. Atleast slum dwellers in Kenya receive electricity 24/7, 365 days a year, good access roads, water, cheap health services and free education for their children.

Nairobi is full of ugly low budget skyscrapers, Lagos actually have better modern buildings coming up and their skyline is shaping up nicely.

Nairobi, Kenya looks like Dallas, USA.
