✓ I will tighten the immigration policy of Nigeria thereby deporting all the illegal immigrants, both experts and non experts without work permit. Especially where you have the like of Cotonous, chads, etc, trooping into the country without work visa, no residents permit, no means of livelihood. Nigeria is the only country where anybody can just enter anytime at will, that rubbish must stop!!!

Many things I will do to improve unemployment.
These will be part of my policies among others

2. Power supply
✓ I will ensure states take responsibility of power generation and distribution simple.
The federal government will take the responsibility of providing power to the major industries that uses larger chunk of the electricity supply.
✓ I will generate Electricity from by natural gas, coal, nuclear energy, and most especially solar and even from waste, I will partner with private sectors for financing and shareholding.

These will be part of my policies among others

✓ I will support all the 6 regional police with at least 2 choppers per region for patrol.
✓ I will direct the military to create and replicate the security based in Kaduna in all the six region of the country.
✓ I will withdraw all the federal security personnel from individuals immediately after the creation of state police and will define federal government security personnel responsibility and engagement.
✓ I will review their salaries upward with immediate effect.

This will be part of my policies among others

4. Economy
✓ I will greatly reduced the cost of governance, right from the office of the President by trimming down inflated budgets.
✓ I will have experts group who review every budgets from every ministry and monitor projects implementation. They will report to me directly.
This is to avoid contract inflation and abandonment
✓ I will direct all the ministries to updates their website by uploading work done, how much has been collected from their yearly budget, how much as been spent and on which project, which company handle a particular project and for how long, etc.

✓ I will pass a policy where every individual in the country declare their assets and tax ID before getting employment anywhere. you must present your tax clearance certificate and asset form certified by the curt before getting employment anywhere in the country
✓ The biggest enablers of corruption are the banks, I will ensure quarterly forensic audit of every bank in the country by central bank to reduce their romance with corrupt people

This will be part of my policies among others.

6. Education

✓ I will overhaul the entire education system by reviewing the entire syllabus.
✓ I will make primary education free.
✓ I will reduce the university education to 3years, masters and PhD programs harmonised.
✓ I reintroduce back school counselors from primary education to tertiary education.
✓ there will be a strong school ethics that any lecturer who misbehave will be dismissed.
✓ I will review the salary of the lecturers and pay off there demand to improve the learning process.
✓ I will setup external group who will carry out forensic audit and review performances of every university in the country

If you asked me where is the money for all the things I mentioned above, I will tell you the stolen money in Nigeria in one year is more than enough to do all that.

Good ambition. Similar what to mine or what any sane Nigerian ll do.
But, the quota system ll affect your recruitment, job creation, loan or anything.
And you won't want to first do census as your first major project.
We are me too plenty so we need to v a honest no & know who to cater for.
However, the decision to eject unlawful immigrants is one of the best there. I detest how anybody comes into Nigeria without proper documentation.
Also, Manning of the borders and those forests is vital.
That's where terrorists use in penetration of arms.

How will you implement all these a leader?

When we all know that most Nigerians are notoriously corrupt.

How will you for instance monitor disbursement and utilization.

If I were you I will address corruption before implementation.

There is what you we call Will, how do they private sectors manage multimillion Naira company and organisations?
It's Nigeria government that made you think solving these problems is hard.

Other countries doing it don't have two heads.

Restructuring is good but first, we need to get out acts together.

We need some immediate solutions to the problems at hand discussing restructuring.

We can't discuss restructuring with empty stomach, however Nigeria will be stylishly restructure without making noise like we have now.

We are saying the same, imagine employing corrupt people in your administration and then complain that no progress, that's one of our major problem in this country.

Mine selection process will include name submission to all the security headquarters for vetting.

You can smell any office within my ministers if you have corrupt court case.

You will be a good president but the first thing anybody that want to change Nigeria situation must have at the back of his mind is that he is not going for the second tenue because you will step on many toes even among your party big men that may later revolt against you.you can only achieve anything meaningful if you ignore those corrupt politicians that will think they brought you to power so they are expecting you to compensate them with ministerial post and many appointments even if they don't merit it
Re: If I Were President: My Practical Ways Of Solving Some Problems in Nigeria by Donshegxy10(m): 1:47pm On Apr 27, 2022
It is easier said than done....

Have you ever wonder why good people entered into politics and changed all of a sudden, the system....

The perm secs, the secretaries are the one running this country, system and institution must be build and it is not done overnight.

You keep saying I WILL, there are people that helped you into power, they want something in return, most of what you mentioned are not what can be done through executive order, it must go through the legislative, they also have their own plans.

Remember buhari 1st years as president, the budget was delayed because of padding from the lawmakers, even when he eventually signed with all the delay, it was still padded.

I watch one interview of ben bruce about goodluck jonathan bad performance in office, he said when you get inside, things are not always the same with the outside, for security reasons and business of the office you will interact mostly with your kitchen cabinet and you can only know as much as they want you to know.

God bless you with this your first sentence, anybody willing to change Nigeria o good must conclude within himself that he's not going for second term. that as been my conclusion that I am not going for second term and That alone will be my driving force.

If it was not easy, other countries that we are running to today won't be developed.

We keep saying it's not easy and other people are doing it seamlessly, bro it is as easy as stealing is.

it take years to develop institution and system that works, tell me a country that was transformed in a period of 8 years, remember that people like buhari and fashola had boasted that they will transform the country in 4 years.

The country can get better but it will take years and several progressive president of like minds to do so.

Most time we think things are just done by magic, do you know how many years this european and north africans has been practising democracy before they get to where they are today.

It is a gradual process, its not what a president can singlehandedly do in 4 to 8 years.
