I read through her plight and can totally relate.

The side talks, the glances and the pretend-care and hypocrisy that accompanies people's advices when you have a special need kid is not an easy one to bear, thankfully, she has come to accept her fate.

I remember the anger that swept through me while I read the letter my Brother's school sent my parents advising them to withdraw my brother from school and instead, send him to a special needs school.

True that he doesn't have aspirations like others, but he has grown to be my mum's best company and although I wish he was better, I can't trade his love for anything in the world.

Parents with special need kids should come to understand that having a special needs kid, though a daunting task, is not the worst that can happen to someone. Keep Strong!

Thanks for this noble gesture.
If I make it in life, part of my plans is to set up a foundation that helps create awareness on special need kids and provide succour to them.
