There’s this guy that works where i live, he actually lives on the mainland, works on the island, he’s the gate keeper to my apartment. Last week Saturday, somehow we got talking. Because i came downstairs, and like he always did, he feeds my dogs and i met him doing that exactly so i took an interest and joined in what he was doing. I found out he had two kids on the mainland and he was living with his wife okay. But this guy could only afford a mattress in his room.

He’d further explain the situation said his kids would have to go lobby with his neighbors to watch tv and he didn’t like it.

Well you’re working i said to him. And he said it was only a matter of time, but the Nigerian situation was more than his take home pay.

Oh okay. We ended the convo, i went upstairs, and upstairs, my kids were watching cartoons as they always did every Saturday morning when they don’t go to school i just couldn’t overlook it, the thought of this guys kids hovering about neighbors to atleast get entertainment didn’t sit with me.

So heres a breakdown of costs

Lg Uk used led 43 inch: 50k
Hifi sound system: 30k
Tv shelf (furniture). 20k
Room carpet 10 yards. 12k
Cable TV. 10k

As much as I applaud your efforts...WTF is that guy doing birthing children when he's not even stable enough to feed himself. These are the kind of people that end up birthing criminals, prostitutes and all sorts that eventually constitute nuisance in the society.


People should learn to be stable before bringing kids to this world. It is so unfair to bring them here to suffer with you. Sternly warn him not to produce anymore kids

We never know the story, i married when i was financially stable, that year, i had earned millions and thought in life i was ahead. Long story short, after two kids myself, life happened, big boy in reality, i had to come on this forum to beg for gofundme in one of the piece i was writing at the time. Bro, at that point, i moved my woman and the kids to her mums, and alot of other things that happened. Someone said the same thing as you’ve said above to me. But things picked up again and I’m stronger from the last point.

Like i said we don’t know the story or we don’t know anyones story. And he’s not deadbeat too. We shouldn’t be judgy,
