Olam09: Ordinary Differencial Equation! Who will we blame before? So you think your bag is water proof of your lappy is water resistant? You are lucky it even came up. The life of that machine will never remain the same again, keyboard will soon start messing u up, audio might join. Of course your screen had shown you it's talent. Next time dive into swimming pool with the laptop in it's bag. Van Dam!  Hope u dried it before putting it on, if not it might never come up again after you shut it down. |

Rain entered it but why are u so quick to turn it on? The laptop is on now but will pack up very soon. Electronic and water don't agree in the presence of electricity and it will fry your board and all parts. Shut down that system and put it in front of your fan to completely dry up. Another option would be to give it to an engineer to clean up the water with fuel and dry the board. I sell laptops in computer village and this is a first hand experience I gave to you now. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The first thing you should have done was to disconnect the battery. The last thing you should have done was to turn it on. Anyway, turn it off, unscrew the base panel to expose the system board and Sun it. If your wife/girlfriend has hair dryer you can borrow it to dry the system board faster. Good luck. 1 Like |

On a normal levels leaving it to dry before putting the laptop back on should work. But those black spots on the screen means the screen is damaged already. Using it when it is not completely dry means you risk frying the motherboard too. |

No reasonable response here still,bro pls take the laptop to an engineer to service.you are lucky the laptop is not dead yet,do not dry it by any other means than let an engineer service it properly otherwise you might not have a laptop again In some days.ad for the spots on that screen,unless you replace the screen na so u go dey use am but its likely that water has found way into the panel and that is very risky unless u are ready to buy another laptop.heed to my advice |

So you entered rain with your lapi and now you are asking us how to repair your lapi ..as poseidon the Greek god of the seas wey we be or as rain makers ...well my humble advise wait for another rain a much heavier rain then this time remove your lapi from the bag if possible remove your clothes too then take a chilled cold bath in the rain with your lapi ...once the rain is over .. your lapi will come back to normal |

Olam09: The first mistake you did was to switch it on. You should have dismantled it, or at least remove the batteries in it and dry it for at least 24 hours. Now, I don't know if this suggestion will work. You can give it a try. |
