I have experienced both crude and mechanised agriculture and I don't intend to have anything to do with the former. Sustainability apart, The beauty of any enterprise is in the start up capital and that includes agriculture.

Upon leaving my former company, I had to bring him in as my replacement. I also introduced him to my side hustle which he is doing presently.

Mine was 7k in 2004. then it become 15k as a contract staff @ leadway pension PFA like that like until i got a better offer though with a private multinational with a pay of 100k+and am not doing badly. Thank God.

i think the real question is what is the worst job you have seen a graduate work in?

we had a work site in my old place and a engineering graduate was working among the contractors manual laborers

one of us took pity on the guy and we engaged the guy as a site clerk

big mistake. the guy was one of those who passed through uni without it passing through him

horrible written and incoherent English. and the guy could not pick up anything.

in the end we had to let him go as his daily project emails copied a large swath of people.

After my NYSC way back in 2004, I was teaching in a private secondary school and earning N12,000. My dad's security that was opening the gate for me and greeting me "welcome" whenever I returned from work was earning N18,000.

Yeah small scale farming is a total waste of time, energy and resources

I earned 10k when I got my first job, though I was doing my NYSC. Same company started paying 150k + two years after. I got another offer and left even though they gave me the option of reviewing my salary upwards.

In the words of my employer "When you were earning 10k you worked like someone who earned 1m per month". He made this statement when I put in words for him to review the salary of graduate interns which was about 50k then.

Wherever you work put in your best no matter what you are being paid.
