I have two plots of land and savings of about 2 million naira , and on a monthly basis I can save between 300,000 - 500,000 naira , with all these in consideration is it advisable I start building a house , looking at 3-4 bedroom bungalow .

Your opinions and advice would be highly appreciated

Indeed building a house is a dream of virtually everyone, so Yea, It's advisable you consider all factors and allocate money to start building your own house...

With all u have listed & considering the type of proposed building, yes u are good to go! U can start.

erect a commercial; income earning building first, before thinking of going residential

It depends on the location sir, if it's a water lodged/swampy area, the 2 million may not do more than raft foundation, but if it's a dry land, the 2 million can be enough to window level...I'm a builder, you can contact me for a good quality construction work at affordable price
