They should send some certain people back to their region, so there will be more than enough space

I did not call any region name!!!

On a saner note the industrialization and urbanization in that place is alarming
And leave loafers like you to stay in Lagos, idiot.

Where is called Lagos today is not where these groups settled. If you're going to your village, where do you go to? Ikeja or Lekki?

every Yoruba has family generationally from Lagos. It’s the nerve center and foundation of the culture of modern Lagos. Where are you from? Aba I’m guessing?

I'm from Delta but saying every Yoruba have family 'generationally' from Lagos is inaccurate.

Go and read the history of Yorubas, you'd see that before the British came, the people calling themselves Yorubas were at war for years. They're bounding together in Nigeria ti have a larger population to negotiate but these are recent history.

As long as one Nigeria exist, i have the same rights and liberty in Lagos as any Yoruba

I don’t need to read anything. I can go to my father and find out myself. Which I’ve done many many times already. Your opinion is irrelevant on this matter.

You wanna get emotional because i tell you the truth? Is your father a historian? Do you know the disadvantages of oral tradition?

My opinion is irrelevant but your opinion is relevant? You are just a joker!

They should try and open up other regions, not sending anyone back. If you support one Nigeria, deal with it.
Are you trying to tell us that everyone from your Region is involved in a business associated with Ports?! This is one of the laziest takes I ever hear from Eastern Nigerians. You’re just lazy and devoid of innovative ideas, just admit it.

Is your lineage linked to the Yorubas in any way? Yes? No?

95% of people in Lagos are immigrants including Yorubas, deal with it!

You lack verbal reasoning and your comprehension skills is abysmal. I will just assume you are a f.o.o.l and not accord you a proper response.

Not emotional at all. Just telling you the truth. The same way the British own London is the same way Yorubas own Lagos. No amount of immigration will ever change that. But unlike the British, our culture is way too thick and concentrated to be penetrated. Understand this and know peace. See the Brazilians still practicing Ifa over 400 years later across the Atlantic. If you all aren’t careful Yoruba culture will eventually subsume Igbo. If you know you know, it may already be happening. What’s funny is that if it were Bauchi you wouldn’t care less about Lagos. It’s because we’ve built something amazing in Lagos you want to attach by force like igbos always do. The ikwerres are well aware of that. So are the Yorubas.

You lot better go back and build your states before we come there behind your back and take over business and development in your region. Those that are aware already see the southwest firms SE politicians are starting to bring in for construction and development. Once Eko Atlantic finishes no one will be able to compete with our technical know how. Not bragging, just stating facts. It comes from hard work and dedication. NOT attache by force or chest beating. You all still can’t seem to figure this out. I’ve given up on helping igbos see reason, Hausas, fulanis, Ijaws, Ikwerres, are all in Lagos and aren’t half as loud as you lot. What really is your tribe’s problem when it comes to Lagos? Why is it always you all covetously salivating over Lagos?
Re: Population Surge Threatening Lagos Island’s Economic Growth – LCCI by DMerciful(m): 12:28am On May 01, 2022
I did not read this epistle. Lagos is now a cosmopolitan place owned by all Nigerians.
Lagos has never been technically owned by Yoruba, its just proximity thats why you have a lot of Yorubas there. Igbos are also many there and the percentage of Igbos there would continue to increase as long as one Nigeria exist. Deal with it.

Re: Population Surge Threatening Lagos Island’s Economic Growth – LCCI by Litmus: 12:48am On May 01, 2022
First thing other Africa nations would do to control population influx into a certain area of their country or the country is make it difficult for people of other countries coming in. They would priorities their own people. Nigeria however don't care. I've watched videos on Logos where Lagosians keep boasting of roads being built to link Lagos more effectively with Benin Republic and so on.

Why complain of Nigerians trooping into Lagos from the various states but say nothing of foreigners from Togo, Benin Republic, Ivory Coast etc?
